I am very displeased with Focus… I had them for a month… I was supposed to have 1gb for WiFi but it was false advertisement. I work from home and had to use my hotspot. I had a Tech come back out to help us with how slow the internet was.. I couldn’t even watch a movie or even play a game on ps5. He told us that we would have to buy a router but can’t promise that would work and that there was nothing else he could do.. I had to go back to ATT. When I asked for partial reimbursement for this issue they refused to give it to me. Smh never again! I am going to tell my parents to get rid of them and get att which I’m very pleased haven’t had an issue since.

We've had internet and streaming television "service" from ATMC for just over a month and it is turning out to be one of the worst experiences I've ever had with this type of company. I'll confine my remarks to the TV service, called mergeTV. The internet has worked fine for two desktop computers. One is wired directly to the modem and the other computer gets the signal via wifi. We've basically had zero problems there. But if you want anything else, buyer beware.

Television has been a daily disaster. ATMC promises the moon with their mergeTV service - massive cloud storage, the ability to go back 72 hours to watch something you might have missed, the ability to start a program from the beginning if you jump into it late, the ability to pause, record, rewind, etc., etc. It all sounds great. None of it works consistently.

We've had almost daiiy outages at all times of day where the signal "disconnects". We've had our modem replaced. We still have an "open ticket" - going on two weeks now - for why our Google Home can't find a wifi signal at all and connect.

I'm to the point now where I will have to make multiple calls almost every day to report outages and downtime. And all this for almost $200 a month! What a freakin bargain!

The people they send out are nice enough, but nothing ever gets resolved. They take notes and wonder what else in the house might be causing the issue - is it the atomic clock on the wall? Is it the wifi-enabled refrigerator (which we haven't even enabled)? Is in the external hard drive I have on my desk next to the modem? Is it my dog barking at someone who comes to the door? And then you never hear from them again until it's time to pay your bill.

Good grief. I had all this stuff when I used to have Comcast and no issues. Now, with all this new whizbang technology and a 1GB fiber network and you can't even watch TV for 30 minutes without being disconnected and having to start over. Turn the TV off, Reset. Start again. Maybe, sometimes, it comes back on. Not always.

I suppose I can pay someone hundreds of dollars to hard-wire everything in every room in which I want to watch TV and maybe that will work. Will it? I don't know.

I'm not sure what the problem is. I suspect it's faulty wifi, but who knows? ATMC certainly doesn't know because they don't seem to be able to fix any of it for very long. Always an issue. Always doing "maintenance."

Long on promise. Too short on delivery. I'd love to find another option besides DirecTV and Dish. I've dealt with DTV in a former life - good picture, lots of content but every time it storms it goes down for 10 minutes. But mergeTV has done them one better. It goes down in perfect weather for no apparent reason.. Pretty much every day.. When it "works" it only buffers for 5-10 seconds two or three times an hour. That's a good day.

You have to earn 5 stars. Monopolies don't earn anything except full culpability when things don't go right. The office is set up in akward cubicles, as if they'd prefer to be able to hide from customers by looking busy. There wasn't a clearly defined set of packages displayed of in print until I'd already been through the process of describing my internet and viewing habits. Packages are also not clearly distinguished as to what might be just a little too much bandwidth. The 400mbs package is obviously intended for medium sized businesses, but not labeling it as "business class" (Time Warner/Charter) leaves it ambiguous for the sake of bilking money from technology illiterate boomers that just want the fastest they can get, not realizing that even with running two televisions from chromecast, four video game consoles, and with multiple computers and smartphones dropping in and out of wifi throughout the day, the 50-100mbs packages are nore than enough at a fraction of the cost. As I've pointed out before, it doesn't mater much what I comment here because in business, only conoetition drives organic change, and there just isn't any of either. I would have probably been more generous with tge limited number of stars google allows yo to have, but three stars reviews arefor winners, and that means free installation. Too bad it's going to cost $50 and I have to wait a while week for someone to come out and twist a 4" fiber optic into place at the box. Charter just had a button to click to make...
