Do not book a tee time at oceans ridge golf. I booked a tee time for a large group to play 36 holes months in advance and had to cancel (and did so months in advance as well) unfortunately. Well I get a call from the course at 8 am on that day saying they are going to charge me about $2.5k because our group did not show up, the man was extremely rude and laughed at me and said unless there was something I could show them that had proof of cancellation then he was going to charge my card he had on file. So I had to search through my emails and find the cancellation onfirmation email and contact the course again. He asked why I acted like I had no idea what I was talking about (maybe because I knew I had canceled this months in advance and he was being very rude???) and said to send him what I found. I did not get an apology for being threatened to have to pay $2,500 for THEIR mistake. If you heard the phone conversation you would be surprised how horribly they would treat the consumer. Could not recommend placing your business elsewhere enough and I would not trust them with any of your...

Worst greens I've ever played. Grab grass patches on the green that were 2 inches long, dead spots everwhere, the greens were longer than the fairways...garbage. Their greens keeper must have just quit. They claimed not in season so its being worked on. Excuse for not taking care of the course. Oh yeah they charged us full price too. We had a rain check for 4 people. We came back with 3 people and we said don't worry about the 4th no need to give us an extra rain check back. $65 per person We asked for a small bucket to warm up and they charged us. I was thinking didnt we just give you $65 back because the 4th person isn't using it and then you charge us for a small bucket? This place needs to take some etiquette and mowing classes. Find a better...

Course alone deserves a 4 star rating. 2 stars comes due to the staff at check in the pro shop. Complete jerk. Not customer focused. Not welcoming. Questioned his associate whether or not we had checked in all 6 golfers as if we we trying to not pay for all our golfers. Admonished his associate openly over her error in registering 2 of our group. When asked if there was a military discount, his response was 'military? Are you kidding? Everyone is military down here. But thank you for your service'. Condescension amongst staff was broad. The gentleman that checked us in at the pro shop should not be handling customers. Being a local - I will not come back and advise my golfing community to not waste...

What can I say this is one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a golf course. First off it was $60 on a Wednesday morning with no one on the course. This was one of the worst courses I have ever played on, sand on multiple greens, sand traps looked like a concrete floor with a handful of sand thrown on top and to make matters worse the grounds crew is mowing/weed eating/blowing leaves all while we are playing. As stated in the other comments about the rough, so high you lose balls you shouldn't be losing. None of this was mentioned when we checked in at the pro shop. If you can play somewhere please do and this includes the other 2 courses in this neighborhood. If I could select no stars I would.

Course was better than I was expecting given prior reviews from the past couple of years. There were definite pros and cons: Pros: - Tee boxes and fairways in great shape - Overall good design - Excellent pace of play - Greens rolled a decent speed - Friendly staff - Affordable Cons: - Some poorly designed holes, mainly par 5s that force better players into a 3-shot hole. Especially #9 (still birdied it). - Hidden penalty areas not visible from the tee - Firm greens. Also two types of grasses on some putting surfaces - Practice green was much slower than actual Panther’s Run greens. Overall a pretty good parkland course. Better than Lions Paw and on par with Tiger’s Eye. Leopards Chase still the best.

Lions Paw. Don’t waste your money. We played today and had heard such great things about this course. Well it certainly has gone down hill. It looks as though the grounds crew is on strike. From tee to green, the tee boxes had large patches of crab grass and ones that had grass it was cut way too tall. It was like teeing up in the secondary ruff. Fairways, again had too many weeds and hadn’t been cut in what looks to be weeks. Bunkers hadn’t been dragged, and if you got in one it was like hitting off the cart path. And for the greens. Way too wet and slow. Just look at the photos. When you charge a premium price, you need to have a premium course.
