I can't give a fair review as I've not yet been to this casino. Please don't anyone consider the 3-star rating I made. It is meant to be neutral. I have not visited, therefore ANY rating would be of zero (0) merit. This "review" is more a response to the owner(s) of this establishment regarding this posted google maps ad. As a potential guest, I read many good reviews and of course, a few bad ones too. In my opinion of the entire album of all photos posted here, I gotta say I felt like I was looking at the set for a "B" movie horror film. I mean, both 360° photos aren't appealing. Thanks for the pic of a beat-up truck in the middle of nowhere- that represents your business? The other one just looks desolate. As for the other still photos, I felt like I was hiding in a ghost town from a crazed mountain man with an axe. It seems so dark, lonely and dreary (aside from 2 lovely, friendly looking ladies). The eggs benedict looked good though. May I suggest brightening up the image? Otherwise, to the potential guests who haven't been there, I hate to say but, may likely want to keep it that way. No disrespect intended. I'm not describing your place from experience, but just these photos. It's probably the best hidden secret and a wonderful casino. This is just an opinion at first glance from the outside looking in. Best wishes to to you and your happy,...
Read moreIts location is tucked away, pretty drive on a nice day. For first timers I wouldn't suggest making the trip after dark as the ambience is very similar to the movie Deliverance. I thought I might have heard the dueling banjos of in a distance. Lol I was a little impressed with the variety of slots they had and they made good use of the space they are in. F.Y.I. fir those who enjoy a cocktail while gambling Monowind has a full bar and is in operation during the pandemic. No smoking while inside though you may enjoy a smoke outside in the designation smoking area. I was informed by the friendly staff that they are serving breakfast on Saturday mornings and also have brought the Prime rib special back. As for myself if I lived in the foothills I would frequent more often but living in Fresno it's just a bit to far to travel. I would make another visit unless friends were...
Read moreNice. Home town feeling, very friendly and helpful staff, no table games but great food and tons of slots. They have an interacive blackjack table and free non alcohol drinks like soda and coffee. The food is soo good. The cobbler is a must have. Go during happy hour from 3 to 6 for $2 beers, even the general sherman ipa for $2. Only 1 hr from Fresno, better than the other casinos in the area. The weather makes this a great getaway and the forest mountain environment is a great place to spend the day on the patio. The parking lot is safe and open. Always parking and security guards and cameras. This place is a must if you ride a motorcycle or a sports car, the drive is fun.
Fun drive, good food, good selection. Great place overall. Must not only visit but return every week! There are specials each day like prime rib dinner Friday with...
