My husband and I got married at the Manor this past May, and we loved the food and the service we received from Laurie, Josh, and their teams. If I could leave a review just for them, I would leave 5 stars for sure. Laurie was so accommodating and helpful. Josh makes the best mashed potatoes I have ever eaten in my life. Seriously. We were heartbroken, however, when we were told that we could not take photos on the golf course anymore, even though days earlier we received a letter of approved photo locations, one of which was the bridge we had seen in other pictures and were so excited for. When we asked why we couldn't go on the course, we were told that then too many people would come and take pictures on Facebook. Umm??? Don't you WANT people to use your venue???? I understand having manager escort on the golf course for pictures for safety, and even not having them on the course at all. But don't tell us days before that we can use it when we can't. We payed thousands for this venue and that was because of how beautiful it is both in person and in pictures. We ended up getting to go to one place on the course, after a ridiculous amount of begging from both my husband and I, and our photographers, and it was absolutely COVERED in goose feces. I didn't want to let my gorgeous train down, but did it because well, it's my day and I want pictures showcasing how beautiful the dress was. My husband and I were disappointed. I would definitely use the manor again, but don't bank on getting nice pictures there. Have a backup location. There are several parks very nice nearby that were incredible...

We played the course yesterday. We arrived @ the clubhouse around 9a.m. so that we could eat breakfast before our 10a.m. tee time. There was virtually nobody in the restaurant except a cleaning lady. We sat for at least 20 minutes before our waitress came over and told us the restaurant wasn't serving breakfast until 11a.m.. All she had was Jimmy Dean sausage sandwiches and coffee. The sandwich wasn't even warm. The course itself was magnificent albeit cart path only due to the recent heavy rain. On a course such as this, cart path only is probably the worst possible option. Then on one par 5, the hole gave you two possible ways to play the hole. The only problem with this was that there was no cart path on the right side, therefore the cart with clubs were on the other side of the water hazard with no way to get to the cart. They should have had a cart path on the right side of the hole. After we finished the first nine, there was a monsoon like downpour and we decided to get lunch in the restaurant. Again, there was only the one waitress and we found out, one cook also, so we waited for @ least 30 minutes before our food orders were taken. We waited for the food and when it was served, one of the orders was totally wrong so someone had to wait until the correct food order was prepared. No excuse for the restaurant to open @ 11am, and be understaffed with resulting poor service as the end result. The course itself was outstanding and I would love to play it under...

We were on the 13th hole, the cart told us to finish 14 and head to 18 to finish out the round. Well we did that. We tee’d off on 14 and while we were driving out to our balls, they shut the carts off. I called the clubhouse to ask what was going on and “Mike” picks up, I tell him the carts shut off, and he immediately goes “Yeah we told you to head to the 18th and you kept playing” with the most attitude I’ve ever heard from someone in customer service. He was wrong, we did what the carts told us to do. I was golfing with a four other guys, and all of us had talked on the 8th about getting a membership. If that’s how they treat paying patrons of the golf course, I don’t think that’s a business I need to support and the others in my group felt the same way. Which is a shame, the course is beautiful. But Mike ruined it for all of us. I’m much happier sticking with my membership elsewhere.

We had our clubs in the truck by 8pm. I don’t really appreciate the “Golf Staff” lying on the responses to our reviews to try and save face. It’s completely ridiculous the attitude Mike showed myself on the phone. And assuming that wasn’t addressed in your response, I have to assume Mike is the one who wrote the...

After about 5 years since my first and only visit to The Bull, I made my way back for another round today. I remembered loving the course, as I do with most all Nicklaus tracks, but I didn't remember it being this good! Around every bend is an incredible approach to a beautiful setting in the woods or next to the river. Similar to it's neighbors, Black Wolf Run's River and Meadow courses, it compliments the terrain and river in the area with awesome elevations and winding through the woods. Dye and Nicklaus's style is similar and complementary of one another, making The Bull a perfect addition to any Whistling Straits golf trip. If you're not familiar with or already following WiscoGolfAddict on all platforms, I'd encourage you do as I'll be doing a full write up on the course soon! The page is also full of great content outside of WI and is a bunch if golf nuts like myself sharing our experiences and introducing everyone to some very special places!

"The Bull" was a great experience even for spring golf. As someone in Chicago, the drive is most definitely worth it. First off, the price point is the best around. If you are golfing up near Sheboygan and don't want to shell out for Whistling this is your choice. Even if you are on your Whistling trip I'd recommend this course. Jack's design is evident on the course and provides great theming in the clubhouse. The Bull was by far in the best shape of any courses I have played around Chicago/Milwaukee. Clubhouse staff was also great and the food at the turn was top tier. With us walking they understood we paid the cart rate and were accommodating to us. I would highly recommend this as one of the best public facilities especially for that $70-80 range.

The BEST in Sheboygan... I came to Wisconsin on a trip to play the courses at Kohler. I had a free morning and found the Bull - this ended up being a great decision. This course flies under the radar, but it was by far my favorite of the trip. You play a wonderful variation of holes, topography, and different arenas (farmland, woods, creeks). My favorite stretch was #4-9 which transitioned from the open part of the property, meandered through the woods and returned to the clubhouse. The photos posted are the approach on #5 and the tee shot on #9. The Bull is a must play!
