As a result, the shop is pristinely clean. The owner, Mr. Raught, and his staff are amiable, kind-hearted, and good people. They exceed all reasonable health and safety standards, and their product looks fresh and delicious. They have a wide range of cuts, meats, and other superb ingredients. I have never been more impressed by a butcher shop in the area and highly recommend folks to stop in and grab themselves a steak. I doubt you'd regret it and suspect you'll return for more.

The steaks from Straight Off the Block are FANTASTIC! The owners of the shop are very helpful. There is also a nice selection of beef sticks, and side dishes, as well as frozen seafood (I've had the salmon). Definitely worth checking out. I will be a...

Always great staff and they explain their samples and have sold me on stuff I didn’t think I’d like but when the let me sample it I always buy something I’d never buy and I end up liking it, always a great experience...
