Country Dairy Farm — Local services in Shelby Township

Nicely run shop. There is a milk dispenser, much like a soft drink dispenser, that I believe you can use with some type of meal deal. Dairy products are produced at the farm. I had the ice cream which was very good. The ice cream had a slightly granular consistency but very good flavor. They also sold pasta salad which seemed pretty good; we bought the "fire roasted pepper" spicy flavor. A variety of cookies are available; they were good but nothing different you get from a regular store. Very friendly staff and very accommodating. Very rural setting and peaceful. It was well worth the drive to visit. Got a little tour of the dairy and how the cows are milked and the great care they take in managing the herd. They do a great job! All of their milk is processed at the farm dairy. My wife and I had lunch in their dairy store. We both had cheese burgers...meat is from the farm...it was delicious. The bottomless chocolate milk was perfect! Then was the best part; the ice cream. It is soooo good! Some of the creamiest ice cream we ever had. The whole family loved the horse drawn carriage tour. Plus you get a free sample of chocolate milk and cheese at the end. Ice cream is fantastic. Burger was easily one of the best I've had. (It's kinda messed up to go see cows on a tour and then eat a burger, I know). We did this at the tail end of our trip from Ludington and this was arguably the best part....
