Duck River Raceway Park — Local services in Shelbyville

My husband and I went to Duck River Raceway Park tonight (10/18/2025) and it was great. They have very clean bathrooms and the staff is very friendly. We met Kim the wife of the flag man there and she was super sweet and helped my husband and me out so very much her husband came up to meet us during the national anthem and said he was good to have us Out of all the race tracks we have been to no one has ever been so sweet and very helpful. We are out of town on vacation and went there and we are hoping to get to come back for the big race on November 23rd. Thank you so much Mrs.Kim and Chris ( I believe that is his name that is Mrs . Kim's husband. We are looking forward to seeing y'all again on November 23rd!!

Oh yeah got to give another sweet lady a shout out who was the souvenir lady there and got me a pink race shirt. I love it! Y'all take care and we will see y'all God willing on November 23rd!!

We drove two hours to visit and was not disappointed! The restroom facilities are some of the nicest I've seen at a track! We also loved the fact that we wasn't watching half a night of qualifying and heats! My fiance was an old school driver himself where back in the day you drew numbers for your heat and actually proved you had the driving skills to come from the back and win! To many cry babies just want a top spot gave to them without having to show they got any skills! Seen two or three cars come from back to nearly first place, Ricky Bobby #69 being one of them! Great racing and skills. That's the kind of driver that puts excitement back in racing, open wheel # 7 was holding top track and putting on a great show! Hopefully we will be back soon! Keep up the great work! Thanks to the new owners for keeping it going! It takes a lot of work to upkeep...

Love this place! I grew up going to this facility every Saturday night for as long as i can remember. Over the last 20 years, I've seen this place transform into the topnotch racing venue it is today. Now operating under new ownership, Duck River Raceway Park is the place to be on a Saturday night. After their purchase in 2022, the Boothe family made it their goal to provide a family oriented place to enjoy some high octane fun. Now celebrating the 50th consecutive year of operation, the staff has worked hard to provide many exclusive events this season and periodically offer their $1 Hotdog $2 Beer $3 Hamburger special.
