I’d assume that the kitten rescue is a very kind, warm hearted place, filled with very respectful people, but the person whom I talked to was an assistant of some sort. Someone who answers all questions if needed, her name was Pam. She sounded a little older, maybe in her 50’s. She was extremely condescending, and rude. The first time we talked I wouldn’t say we had any problems. She called me initially to ask if I had read their “biography”, and i said no, given I didn’t know there was a biography to read from. I later found out my phone was just glitching and wasn’t allowing me to do anything. The second time me and Pam had a conversation was when I had a question about their website. I called back and asked if there was a bigger cat selection to pick from or if the first page was the only selection of cats I could pick from, as I had found one that I had assumed wasn’t apart of their selection. I called to make sure because I didn’t want to send in another application for a cat that wasn’t in their care, and she replied with “I just don’t understand. This is puzzling to me because-“ and then she cut herself off. That was led with lots of other murmuring. She then proceeded to aggressively direct me through each and every process I needed to make to get to their website and find my way through it, and while that would be good customer service for some, I had already notified her that I knew my way around the website, multiple times, before and during her rambling. I just called to ask a question. To put it plainly, she made a overly detailed and complicated detour around the main question I had asked, to then form her own solution that wasn’t even related to what I had asked. Her talking went on for about 8 minutes telling me the same things over and over again, even AFTER I told her “oh, I found my way around the website, I just needed to ask a question about your selection”. She then took another 3 minutes making her way through the websites options that she had supposedly “never clicked on before”, therefore, leaving me there to hear her murmur to herself more, and completely disregard my entire existence, which I found to be extremely unprofessional. I had found 3 cats that were indeed on your website that I would have absolutely loved but I simply did not want to deal with such a arrogant woman any longer. This adoption process is supposed to be a magical experience, and it was turned into a very degrading, unpleasant experience. I had high hopes for something that was so close by, as everyone in this town is very nice, but she was someone I do not wish to hear from again. Therefore I will not be contacting anyone here unless absolutely...

As of recent 10 kittens have been abandoned on my door step so I decided to do what I thought was best and call this so called "wonderful" place that's "supposed" to help animals. Anyway I contacted kitten rescue and told them that these kittens seemed to be about 3 to 4 months old but they told me they don't accept cats that old apparently? How can you be called "kitten" rescue when you don't even help kittens? Well in my dire need I got turned down then later on around 11:30 or so I get a call from them from what I assume to inquire about these small kittens that have been abandoned at my door step I sadly missed the call so I tried to call them back 3 fricken calls didn't go through so I left it alone then they call me back and I kid you not the person who picked up the phone was like " hello this is kitten rescue you called us?" And I simply said " I recently got a call back from you guys?" And she was like " but you called us?" And before I could even state and say the SITUATION I was in she was rude and hung up on me in the middle of me trying to explain this situation I was in. My friend has tried to go through them too and they have stated that they won't allow them to have any of their cats because my friend has cats of her own and they quote said " learn to take care of the cats you have" I'm sorry but that's rather disrespectful on so many levels. Comming from a company who prides themselves on taking care of "animals" if you DONT take care of kittens take it out of the name and put in your website you WILL not help with young kittens! I'm disappointed with this small business and I will be posting about this to shelton talks aswell. So to whomever reads this don't waste your time.. 4.4...

I appreciate what they are doing but I feel they are unprofessional here. We have 2 little kittens we got from this place. They are extremely friendly which is the only reason this organization is getting 2 stars. I will say this. They are very good at socializing their cats. Now onto the bad. Norma is very rude. She was very unprofessional in her approach to communicating with us. It was always a one way conversation, as in we were always the ones listening. Onto the kitties. They are very loving beautiful cats. We got them with expectations that they were ready to go and healthy. A thousand dollars and a week later they are still undergoing their medication to rid them of giardia. They hadn't received their rabies shot( in their defense they had mentioned this) or their second and third booster( neither of which was mentioned ). They have upper respiratory infections. Both of them. In my opinion an animal should be blessed off by a licensed veterinarian prior to the release to their family. If nothing else just as a precaution of the type of expenses said animal is going to cost in medical treatment. Thankfully we were prepared, but...

Animal rescue is not for the faint of heart. Some days are wonderful and some will put you on your knees. But we just keep on going knowing that we ARE making a difference in so many lives. If you think you would like to help your local animals in need, please reach out to your local shelters. If you can't adopt, you can foster. If you can't foster, you can volunteer. If you can't volunteer, you can donate. And if you can't donate, you can educate. Everyone can do something and if we all work together we can make a better world for those we love ♥️ #volunteer #foster #animalrescue #animals #cats

This is why we do what we do! these little kittens came to the shelter when they were just born. found under someone's porch, mother nowhere to be found. after being in foster care with me for a little bit, they moved on to another foster who just adopted them for good! Congratulations kittens on a wonderful forever home!! #foster #kittens #adopted #adoptdontshop

One of our churches was having a function and we received a call from a person there saying they found some newly born kittens and Mom was staying close. I grabbed a carrier and heat disks and headed over to see what was what. ( I didn't think to record that part ) When a friend and I got there we put the babies in the carrier with the disks and I could see mama watching. We walked away for a bit hoping mom would go into the carrier and I could just close the door them all. She was not happy with this idea. Luckily my director lives really close by and has traps on hand. We left the babies in the carrier and set the trap so the back of the trap was butted up to the front of the carrier. We decided to go back to the shelter after checking with our contact to see how late they would be there at the church. We said we would return before that time to check the trap. I was so scared when I got back to the church to see all the garbage piled up and the gate locked. #rescue #catrescue #kittens
