Nice track for motorcycle racing. It has all the components you want including altitude changes, sweeping corners, extremely tight corner, and a good straightaway. What was missing was a nice monitor so that you could see the racing on the parts of the track that you can't see from The grandstands. Even the VIP camping section had no monitor. So once the racing was by your particular viewing area you didn't see anything else till they came around again. Also, missing seem to be any kind of announcing so that you could at least keep track in your head If you can't view what's going on at other parts of the track. For example, Portland international raceway has monitors that keep track of not only events on the track, but also will show fastest lap times, current race status (Green, yellow, or red flag), and much more. But overall I give the track and the Motorsports Park overall a good rating. Update. During the Moto America races there is an option to subscribe to their live feed for a reasonable fee that does have round the track monitoring and you can also choose which specific racers you want to pay attention to. It sounded also like there was Life commentary but it was too loud at the track so I couldn't make out what anything was being said. However next time I'll bring earbuds Bluetooth to the computer or phone that has the paid live feed and should hear everything wonderfully. Also this Motorsport complex has a go-kart race track that is an exact (scaled down) replica of the race track. I'm still waiting to ride the go-karts but damn that's...
Read moreDrove 2hrs to bring my kids to do Go-Karts only to get there and have the lady take one look in my car and tell me if they arent 15 they can't do the karts. Mind you I have fully checked the website before hand looking over the requirements to make sure all kids met the minimum at least. The kids with me at the time are ages 10, 12, 13 and 16. When I brought up the issues of the website not stating anything about age I was told it's to hard to put that info on the website and keep it up to date something along those lines, but they can regularly update it for events held at the tracks.....right okay. Left a message to speak to a manger as I was frustrated and wanted to confirm what I was told and make sure it wasn't another issue. No phone call returned until the week of July 14th mind you I expect it to be a few days as it was after the 4th of July holiday and it's a busy time for any track. Unfortunately my daughter decided to scream when I answered the phone and in my scramble to rush to a different room and apologized for that I was hung up on with no call back. Definitely not a place worth investing my money in. We visit other tracks regularly as my son is highly into racing and training so we can get him to league status, this is the first time we've had this type of experience. Just frustrated and disappointed because we really wanted to have more options for tracks to practice at. Hopefully others have better experiences...
Read moreHad a killer track day experience with my group of friends. The staff was just great, and everyone was nice and friendly too!
They had plenty of bathrooms all around the track and viewing areas.
Cafe was perfect for a quick bite to eat or something cold on a hot track day. Also priced reasonably with very tasty food, so we all tipped extra and who doesn't enjoy that!
That said, I did find the audience viewing areas a bit lackluster. Often felt like I needed to be up another 10' or 20 feet to really see the action. Also noticed the bridge way didn't have any kind of handicap access, and it was all fully sealed... kinda ruined a great spot to see the action! Tho, it might be intended to prevent gawking over the track or anything being tossed into it.
I did notice they have some exciting plans for expansion. There's a bit of work happening and it's unfair to judge something in the middle of being worked on. I'm giving a 5 star, but hope to see greater attention for audience enjoyment soon. Otherwise, fantastic track and great people! No regrets,...
