So yeah, you get what you pay for. There are few of these drive ins left, they aren't what they used to be, hard to keep open, hard to decently staff, and hard to regulate all the rude people with their lights and noise etc...it's really more of a community service as they aren't a real bank roll business, so appreciate that. The food is decent and the prices aren't bad at all compared to other venues, the curley fries are legit! A fresh spiraled potatoe dropped in oil and salt and super yummy, I paid 20 bucks for a deluxe double cheese buger, curley fries, and a large drink, better than most fast food joints that charge more for nastier food. The movie experience itself was a bit lacking, the picture was dim and a bit blurry, the screen a bit small, we watched the new Indiana Jones movie, although I will have to rewatch it bc I missed most of it, there were unfortunately subtitles due to foreign languages being spoke and I could not make out most of it, also due to how dim it was, the darker scenes were impossible to make out. I included a picture of our view, judge for yourself. All in all I had a decent time though, it brought back a lot of old memories and it was good to get out, plus a double feature including guardians of the Galaxie 3 was well worth the $16 we spent. I feel like the communities should get together and help to rebuild, restore, and update these nostalgic and rare drive ins before they are all but gone.

Great times...comfort, easy, not too crowded, clean facilities. Take a football or frisbee and enjoy your movie! Kids love it!

I love this place. First time visit was last week, Wednesday. I will be back later this month to support this business. The concession prices are great and you get so much for your money. I will be trying the food later. But the popcorn and slushy was so delicious. I payed $20 for a X-Large popcorn, 2 X-Large drinks and a candy. Oh and you can get soda or a slushy. We split that between me and my fiancĆ©. Still didn’t even finish it. I’d say that could feed a family of 4-5. This is a business to support. They are such kind people. Bathrooms are clean. Parking is easy. Also we were informed if our battery was to die they would be able to jump our battery for us. (Didn’t need too) It is worth the trip. The stars and the moon looked beautiful as-well.

"Most of the revenue for the Skyline comes from our concessions- please, no outside food or drink" This line is pasted right from their website!

One would think that if MOST OF YOUR REVENUE COMES FROM CONCESSIONS they would try to get it CLOSE to right.

There were only 15 orders in front of mine. When I received my order the first time, the polish dog was missing (they had to check the receipt to prove I really ordered it), the bun for my wife's burger was rock hard (really, not just stale) AND I ordered my double burger without cheese and it was dripping in cheese. (both of these were order "Deluxe with lettuce, tomato, pickles and onion and they were all on there) I asked one of the kids behind the counter to knock on the bun for my wife's burger and the look on his face was like, oh crap now what do I do. I just asked if they could fix the order/start over and he said I don't know, let me check. At this point I understand mistakes happen and the movie is still 2 hours away from starting, so no worries. (there were only 3 orders in front of mine at this point and it took 20 minutes for this wrong order to come out). He came back and said we'll redo this.

As I waited for the order to be remade, I watched orders get placed while I was waiting and watched them receive their food long before I received mine. 11 order were placed and I had to wait for all 11 order to be place ed, made and delivered (ANOTHER 40 MINUTES) to received our order.

Near the end of my wait I saw an older female (30's or 40's) come out from the back to get herself something to drink. I assumed she was the manager so I asked her if I could speak to a manager and she said she was the manager. I was not a bit frustrated but not rude. I explained the order and timeline and she defended the process saying the cook was just completing order that were already in progress. I had to explain to her that most of the order that came out were placed AFTER my food went back for correction. She told me she would look into it. (she needs to realize we can all see her through the open door and order window from the counter and she was laughing with the cook as soon as she went into the back to, "LOOK INTO IT"). They do not want you to bring food in but they don't want to show you how important it is to them to stay open.

If we teach the current generation that is in high-school it is OK to be lazy and having fun behind the counter is more important than output and customer service, then we will have more lazy managers like the one at this concession stand that is more concerned about not making high-school employees/kids mad at her and less concerned about producing good workers and crap for my hard earned $20 that they took from us.

Video games in the concession area appeared to all work but when they were handing out change to moms for their kids to play employees would say we don't own the games we rent them from, "a guy"......she pointed out 2 of the games that she would not recommend that they try because they will lose their money. (observed while WAITING FOR MY FOOD FOR AN HOUR) Also the is no way to dry your hands in the bathroom as the dryers were broken and no source of paper product to dry your hands. Hey but there was soap!

I could continue to rant but I am done giving her my energy. I will close by saying 2 positive things. #1-The movies picture and sound were OK. #2-The girl taking your order was the right person for the job as she gave the initial impression that this was going to be a typical fast food process.............it went downhill after you placed your order though.

My wife and I were so disappointed. This was on Saturday...

Came to watch indiana jones new movie. On site bathroom that was clean on ladie's side. Cannot comment on men's side. Recommend taking advantage of buying tickets online for faster entry. They usually have 2 movies featured over a weekend and appear to flip flop which one plays first. Indiana jones ended around midnight so I cannot imagine staying to watch the 2nd movie. Daughter and i both fell asleep. It was a very hot evening but we kept our windows up because people kept smoking cigarettes and ruining the desire to keep fresh air coming in. I guess the bonus was we didn't have trouble with mosquitos either. We did get some popcorn and while it tasted good, it was very greasy with addition of "butter". I know, you are thinking of course it was greasier but this went above and beyond and we could feel the grease squishing out in each bite and we ended up with stomach aches. We don't have this experience when we get popcorn at the mall theater. I think the teenager making the popcorn overdid it. There are all sorts of things on the menu including cheeseburgers, icee drinks, ice cream, candy, basic nachos, and more. The concession stand is papered in old movie posters which were pretty awesome to see. I will probably have to rent a speaker next time because i encountered 2 problems with my modern car. After about an hour of having radio on it automatically turns off to save the car battery from going dead. But then when you turn the car back on, even with headlights switched off, it still activates the headlights and you ruin everyone's experience. Oops, that was embarrassing. Luckily the people next to us had the car radio blaring because they had set up lawn chairs and their car...
