Medure's Catering — Local services in Shenango Township

WOW! If I could give Medure's more than 5 stars I would! We used them to cater our wedding and supply the bar/bartenders on our 7-16-22 wedding at Armstrong Farms in Sarver, PA.

First of all, Pete is so kind, flexible, friendly, and passionate about what he does. He was easy to get ahold of for questions and promptly answered every time. We actually had to send our mothers to the taste testing since we were planning from out of state and Pete was one of the main reasons they helped us select Medure's.

The food-I read many reviews stating how delicious it was and how many compliments people received from their guests. I thought-how good could it really be? Well it surpassed my expectations in every way!! We had the beef tips, chicken scallopini, eggplant rotini, and more. The beef was tender, the chicken was crispy and juicy at the same time, and that eggplant rotini is to die for! Guests were raving about the food from the second it hit their lips. It has been 2 weeks now and we are still hearing about how delicious Medure's food is!

The service staff was also professional, courteous, and prompt. I believe our lead server's name was Gianna?-she made sure to introduce herself to my husband and I and made sure we got fresh appetizers from the cocktail hour before she put everything away and made sure we were happy first.

We also had them supply the bar & bartenders. Our bartenders (wish I remembered their names) were awesome! They were so laid back but yet professional at the same time. They made my husband and I feel so special and attended to. My guests were also happy with the service they received from the bartenders.

All in all, you will be so pleased when you select Medure's for ANY event, but especially a wedding. They will make sure you and your guests are happy, full, having fun, and enjoying their night.

Imagine this: A guest comes up to you after your wedding and says, 'that chicken was really good!' That's right. The chicken. At a wedding.

It happened to us. Thanks to Medure’s. And we can’t even count the compliments we got on the famous eggplant rollatini.

Medure’s Catering was very reliable in their communication throughout the entire process! Kristen was so helpful in guiding us through the process and answering all of our questions. And, of course, we were very happy with our day of service, the quality of the food, and in particular the crab-stuffed mushrooms!!

We opted for a buffet-style menu along with passed appetizers. The food and service was the perfect fit, in our opinion, to the vibe of the venue (Succop Nature Park). Not overly fancy, still very enjoyable and exactly what we and our guests were looking for! (However, based on our tasting, I have full faith that if we’d have wanted to go fancy, Medure’s would have hit it out of the park on that too!)

The only note I would give to couples would be to give the bartenders (who came included as part of our venue package) clear instructions on any Signature Drinks you may be offering. We did not. And that is 100% on us. But because of this, some of the drinks were inconsistent in their ratios and recipes.

TL:DR: We’re so happy that we worked with Medure’s on our big day. And, if my review above doesn’t prove it – just know that despite all of our friends warning us that they didn’t and couldn’t eat on their big days – my husband and I both ate (and thoroughly...

Medure’s catered our wedding on May 31st and we couldn’t be happier with our decision to book with them. We had their food at a wedding we attended, and were very impressed, so when we reached out to them about catering our wedding, we were happy to hear they were available and included so much in their pricing. From providing linens, plate and glassware, to setting up our cookie table- it was so helpful to have them include all this in their rate. They were always upfront with the pricing which can be uncommon in the wedding world.

Gabbey helped us throughout the whole process. She always quickly replied to any emails, and all questions, no matter how frequent or how many. She was wonderful to work with.

Though all of the reasons above are great reasons to book with them for your next event- the main reason is because their food was truly amazing for our event. EVERYTHING was delicious. Multiple people during and weeks after our wedding commented on how delicious the food was. Multiple people said it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. Many people went back up to the buffet for more food, and there was still some left. Medures was also willing to donate the leftover food as we didn’t have anywhere to put it for the night and knew we wouldn’t be able to eat it all. We really appreciated this instead of it going to waste. They packed two take out boxes for my husband and I so we could eat some later in the night or next day.
