The course is in terrible shape. Played today. The lack of maintenance is clear. For the price its no better than a muni course, so please save your money. I've played this course for years and this is by far the worst its ever been. maybe a change in Management, or lack there of, or the greens keeper is new. Maybe they don't have one at the moment. If you are expecting to find grass on a tee box for a par 3 , bring your own hitting mat. The tee boxes haven't been leveled in years, and they have lost the a majority of the tee boxes. If this was end of season, maybe it would make sense. You may also want to bring say a lawn mower, or a weed eater, since the grass is so tall on the tee boxes and fairways. This course should be in immaculate shape right now. The weather has been warm and there has been plentiful rain. Even the rough grass is basically clover at this point, which shows a lack of proper fertilization not only for these areas, but the entire course in general.

The greens are being over taken by Poa. The collars are not mowed, they are Poa and are covered with clover. Not sure what has happened with this place, but it has slowly gone down hill. The bunkers are a disaster, they are never raked, and have been over filled with sand. So if you are in them, please tether yourself to a friend, you will need help getting out of them.

Overall, this course was a place to play 15 years ago. The lack of proper maintenance and care of greens ( they are already beat up) is a total disappointment. If you can find somewhere else to play for $65.00 I would advise you to seek an...

Played the course on Friday, May 6. The round took us six hours and twenty minutes. Yes you read that correctly, six hours and twenty minutes. There was a group ahead of us that apparently was from a company in town for the Kentucky Derby. They had, I believe four groups total, they completely tied up the entire course. At one green they were posing for pictures while three groups waited on the tee for them to clear, unbelievable. Complained to the ranger who stated he told them to skip a hole and they told the ranger they would speed up. He should have tossed them off the course. After the ordeal was over we complained to the person in the pro shop who looked to be just out of high school, as the course pro was not at the course. Our complaints were met with indifference. We suggested a rain check for nine holes of golf and was told "if I do that for you I will have to do that for everyone". As we were leaving one of the young men taking care of the carts told us that group had played there several times during the week and it was always the same thing, slow round that took six hours, so the course knew of the problem but didn't care to address the problem. Doubt that I will ever play the course again, I am not going to waste my money on a course that has such poor customer service. The least they could have done was offer us a sleeve of golf balls. Truly an unbelievable and torturous experience. My lasting memory will be the 18th tee box, one group on the green having a picture taken, one group in the middle of the fairway, and four groups on the tee box...

Terrible customer service. A friend went to their web site, presses “call,” and made reservations for eight of us on the 2nd of Aug. I had to talk them into trying the course, and at the time I was not sure why that was true, but I learned. When we got to the course we were told we had not tee times. There was no, “I am sorry” or “Let me see what I can do” just “You must have made a mistake.” I asked to talked to the general manager and was told he was in a tournament (that I later learned ended the day before, within commuting distance). I asked for his contact info and was told they were out of business cards, but another customer showed me the stack of cards on the counter. I called the next day (a Saturday that they had the local club championship) and was told he was off but would be in the next day. I called on Sunday and was told, by Jacob, that the manager, Mike McDade, was on the course but would call back. That was five days ago and I have not got the call. I later learned from my friend that this was the third time that tee times had not been honored. This might be a great course but, since I did not get to play, I will never know. However, their customer service is...

Great golf course, great layout... Played here the first time a few years ago and they had record rain so it was a little wet but overall the course was in great shape and the greens rolled true and quick... Recent visit June 2022 came to play a individual tournament and again great layout, for the most part pretty wide fairways with some decent slope to them, greens have some very good undulation which is great for many pin locations.... Problem this time is the tee boxes haven't been mowed in at least a week, maybe two on some of them and the greens were slow, not mowed or rolled in at least a few days...sad to see this great course not in the condition it should be in and especially in the beginning of summer

Very nice golf course. The tee boxes and fairways were in great condition. The greens were nice and surprisingly quick the day we went. The course had some fairly diffholes, but overall its geeat for all skill levels. Every staff member we had contact with was very friendly. They even brought us out a cart as we were getting our bags out of the truck. Would definitely recommend it, and I will be visiting here the next time I'm in Kentucky!

This has been the most Beautiful course I have played in Kentucky so far this year. I just got back into the game and a few months ago and one of the guys that I play with recommended this place so we gave it a go. As pictured below the course is Beautiful and they have done some very neat and creative things with this course with space not being an issue.
