We were on a 2-week road trip when our Wagoneer died in the Bighorn National Forest. Our insurance had it towed to the nearest dealership (Sheridan Motors). My very 1st discussion with them was discouraging - super rude. We had to make a service appointment, fine. 19 days before they looked at the car - knowing our family was back home in Wisconsin where every day was a struggle with only one vehicle. Jeep and Stellantis won't offer rentals or loaners. Back to the story, despite making the appointment, they actually forgot to look at it. They said too many employees called in sick. 9/9 they tell me what we already knew: the alternator is bad. They wanted to install a used, salvage yard alternator. A regional manager from Stellantis advised against this despite an OEM part not being available for seven months. After some back and forth, the salvage part became our only option. Sheridan Motors screwed up when talking to the salvage yard in Texas and asked for a starter motor instead of an alternator. A week later, they tell me they ordered the wrong part and now I have no other option but wait till April 2026. I live in Wisconsin. I was already without my $80k car for 6 weeks and they just nonchalantly tell me it'll be another 7 months. The starter / alternator mix-up was my final straw. Even their Regional Manager said "We have to get this car away from Sheridan Motors." He wanted it shipped to a more reliable dealer in Denver or to Wisconsin. We agreed on Wisconsin. I paid for a private hauler to pick it up and get it to me (Stellantis was supposed to reimburse at least half that cost - they have not). When the hauler arrived to pick up the car in Sheridan, the service manager refused to release it to the driver unless I paid $200. I had to blindly pay them $200 over phone while the driver sat there and watched us scream at each other or else the service manager wouldn't let the shipping company put it on the truck (that's called extortion). Two days later I had my car. It was another 2 days before I could look at it. When I did, it took me 4 hrs to pull the alternator from the car, pull the alternator apart and replace the burnt bearing. I am not a mechanic. With simple tools (hammer, 13mm socket, ½" breaker bar) i was able to accomplish in 4 hrs what this place could not in 41 days. WHAT. A. JOKE. In my job, I interact with about 100 strangers every day. I have never met a group of more incompetent human beings in my life. Jared, the service manager, should be fired. He couldn't manage a lemonade stand. The owner (forget his name) was "gonna make it right" and buy back the Wagoneer - he offered us $23,000 and a new Wagoneer at 8.99% interest. The Regional Manager has promised to reimburse me hundreds of dollars which I expect that I will never see. My situation is close to resolved. My wife is out, as we speak, test driving a Honda Pilot and a Toyota Grand Highlander. I was a jeep guy for life. No more. They don't make parts anymore and have the audacity to ask 80 grand for a wagoneer, 60 grand for a grand cherokee, 50 grand for wranglers. If I can help but one person avoid this hell I've been living the past 6 weeks, then this post was worth the time it took to type it. STAY AWAY from Jeep, Stellantis, and Sheridan Motors. These...

Go somewhere else, Benton Johnson the GM for this dealership does not work in good faith and treats his sales staff like trash. I worked with this dealership for over a week to purchase a new truck when I could have paid cash for the vehicle at anytime, if I was informed of this. Then when the truck arrives at the lot today, my salesman Michael who is awesome contacts me and we work through the options I want added to the truck when I pick it up. 2 hours later Benton informs my salesman that another customer wired the funds to purchase this truck in full. I contact the dealership speak to Benton and after being insulted multiple times I offered to pay cash. He would not honor anything from the past week while waiting for this vehicle to arrive and after knowing exactly who I was etc.. then explained to me the customer was coming in to get preapproved. Again, I offered to pay cash because I live 6 hours away and this company advertises how great they are to work with when you're out of state. Do not trust anything with this company because I do not complain about businesses online and I know this company pays for good Google reviews after working with this company. Sheridan Motors, Benton Johnson is the last place you should work with for your next vehicle purchase. Don't trust anything you're told over the phone or online if your out of state or local until your transaction has funded because the GM Benton has zero integrity nor lives up to what this company advertises about how great they are to work with. If you want to validate this, I recorded the phone call today and informed Benton this prior to proceeding. I can't believe he would refuse to accept my money after spending this past week thinking this was one of the best experiences I have had with a Ram dealership, then sell a truck to someone else knowing daily I wanted to purchase this vehicle. Benton when you respond to this review, choose your words wisely because you are not a man...

Terrible experience here. A few weeks ago I was traveling out of state from the east coast in my 2022 Ram Cummins 2500 ($90000 dollars) when I developed a minor warranty issue. I realized my truck was going to go over my warranty mileage before I could make it to my home dealer.

I stopped in to their service department and explained my situation, asking if they could document my issue/mileage so it could be addressed later if they did not have time to repair it. I was told “no way”, by who I assumed to be the service manager. (No name tag, bald guy about 45) It was too much work for him to do that. That I could make a service appointment for the earliest date they had, which was 3 weeks out. After trying to reason with them I was told it was “not their problem”.

Funny thing is the shop was dead quiet, nothing going on.

Next dealership I stopped at, was fantastic. “Oh no problem Mr. McLoud!” “So sorry your new truck has an issue!” “We see that you are a repeat Chrysler customer and have owned several of our more expensive vehicles. “. That service manager had the situation documented in less than 5 min and I was on my way.

I have already made this situation known to several of my good friends in the Sheridan area, which of course are all regular buyers of large expensive work trucks.

When you buy a new truck like this, you spend the money for reliability and a warranty, for peace of mind when you are thousands of miles from home.

The attitude and actions of this individual, at Sheridan Motors, I found to be extremely unprofessional and deserving of a serious adjustment. He added a substantial amount of stress and anger to an already stressful trip. All because he was too “busy” to help a traveler that supports a brand his dealership sells.

For this, if I could give a zero star...

Beware if you’re going to look at that 2007 dodge Ram 3500 dually - drove over an hour to go see it and instantly seen it has a power steering leak and oil leak. Oil leak looks like it’s just a ring on pan that needs replaces simple fix- but power steering block was replaced and is not holding power steering at all! Mechanic lied to me about it to my face when he came out and looked at it, said he never serviced it but carfax says different. They later admitted they did work on it after being confronted about it. Said it would cost 2k at their shop to fix it. - so they know what the problem is and are not fixing it lol before they sell it. Bwing a large dealership I expected so much more! I will say the sales staff was nice considering I was not happy and pretty pissed off - sales department I have no issue with! Their mechanic is absolute trash! The way they do buisness is even worse! I really pray whoever buys this truck goes under the hood like I did. Honesty goes a long way! Crazy you guys let a 22.5k check walk out the door on a used vehicle that most likely got traded in for nothing- to screw someone with a vehicle that’s basically undriveable if it can’t hold power steering fluid! Imagine we would have drove home with no power steering in it! We had a check in hand ready to hand over if it was what they said it was - thank god we were not the suckers they thought we’d be! Btw the power steering is leaking in two places for anyone interested in the truck! It’s at the top and bottom of block.

Awesome dealership. Brent, Jake, and Frank were all great to deal with and made our truck buying experience painless. We drove 400 miles to buy our truck there and will gladly do it again! We have bought numerous GMC trucks from various dealers and normally hate the process. That was not our experience here. We were treated great and it was a painless process!

They have amazing customer service, the people there are great. You feel no pressure and they explain everything. As a first time buyer of a car in a car dealership, this was the best experience I have had. I highly recommend going through them for a car, especially for a first time buyer. They will help you in many ways that you would have never thought of.
