Best wireless ISP in the area. Their main building is running on several fiber lines and I have an average latency of 6ms to that building. Gaming works great!
The website states for the "Everything" plan($70) that you get the "fastest capable download & upload", which is not entirely true. Fastest capable download, yes, however the upload is capped at 20Mbps. Therefore the price for the bandwidth isn't as bad as it was, and since moving the antenna to a nice clear line-of-sight with the radio tower and switching out to a 6GHz frequency, I've achieved speed test results for download as high as 510Mbps at around 5am.
As another reviewer mentioned, 'if it goes down on the weekend, you're screwed', this is absolutely correct. Be aware that foliage is your enemy. If you have foliage in the way it may still work, it just depends on how dense the foliage is, and you might run into more problems down the line if the foliage gets thicker. If you have the money a self-supporting radio tower might be helpful to get over the tree height.
Pros: --Best available ISP for remote rural areas and for a wISP, it's pretty amazing. --Nearly the entire team is friendly and professional. --Great latency given there's a clear line-of-sight. --Everything plan has uncapped download speed. --Better than HughesNet and Viasat any day. --Higher bandwidth, lower latency, less jitter, and cheaper than Starlink.
Cons: --Foliage is your enemy. --If it goes down on the weekends, you might be screwed until Monday. --Requires clear line-of-sight for best service. --Upload capped at 20Mbps, though I have managed to get slightly higher at...
Read moreFor the past three years, NCATS has been keeping Community Closet Charities connected, and we couldn’t be happier. As a nonprofit, we have to be mindful of every dollar we spend. When we looked at other internet providers, they only offered business plans that were way more expensive than residential service—even though the speeds were the same. Thankfully, a friend pointed us to NCATS. They actually listened to what we needed and set us up with a plan that makes sense for us. We pay just $25 a month for reliable internet, and that price hasn’t changed. It’s exactly what we need—why pay for more than we’ll ever use? Beyond affordability, their customer service has been amazing. When we first signed up, our building had some tricky installation challenges, but they found a creative way to get us connected. And when we moved to a new location, they were right there with us, making sure we had service without any hassle. Every tech we’ve met has been friendly, helpful, and knows their stuff. Plus, being local means they’re easy to reach and quick to respond. The basic plan is all we need to run our computer, our point of sale, and for our volunteers to connect to the internet with their phones—it’s everything we need. Looking at our usage, we’re nowhere near the limit, which just proves we made the right choice. Honestly, I can’t imagine going with anyone else. Thank you, NCATS! You’ve been the perfect fit for us from day one. By keeping our internet affordable and reliable, you’ve helped us use our resources wisely—so we can focus on what really matters: serving our neighbors and making a difference in...

For years, I was a loyal customer of a well-known internet provider. But loyalty didn’t pay off. My bill kept creeping up until it was more than double the original contract price. I tolerated it because the speeds were good. Once they started charging extra for unlimited data and tacking on fees for every little app and service I wanted to choose a new provider. In a house of five, where streaming is constant (TVs, tablets, laptops, and phones) you can imagine how important it is to have reliable, affordable internet. Then I heard about NCATS, a local internet provider offering better prices and no hidden fees. I decided to take the plunge. Setup was a breeze. The installation was professional and didn’t disrupt my work schedule. On the day of the switch, I braced myself for complaints about lag or buffering. But guess what? No one even noticed the switch!! Now, nearly a year later, we’ve had zero issues, no outages, no lag, no drama, and best of all, no price hikes. I couldn’t be happier. If you’re tired of being nickel-and-dimed and want reliable, affordable internet from a provider that actually cares, I wholeheartedly...
