I dont really dislike Dollar General. This store in my opinion is pretty busy and alot of times only two people are manni g the place e. It's difficult for me as a perso. To say so.ething negative about a facility that I do not workin in to know the process or the procedure for the way thi gs are handled at the register or at the door. I have been shopping g here for nearly 5 years the first four I really had no issue with custo.er service or the way in which my I individual needs were being met. There has always been the digital coupon issue of not loading or the system being g down or glitching but that's no fault to the employee so we move on. However about the last year the cuto.er service has plummeted in a way that has actually required me to all but move my buisness to anothe re dollar general or another retail store in our community all together. Most people are really helpful and willing to listen to you no problem. It there's always the few who do not care and really make me and others as well feel that our shoppi g experience e is not for them to make a good o e, or to I teract at all except to say I dont know or were closing in so many minutes loudly and rudely across the establishment. Rules are rules and they must be followed I k ow but customer service is easy you be nice offer assistance smile , whatever it takes but not anythingless. The store manager is obviously a hard worker and it shows the store bnb is clean and things are where they belong but its imperative that a manager in my mind present themselves a certain way and conduct buisness professionally especially when the is a issue with customer service. That is the major problem in this store for me is the way some of the employees and manaegment handle customers who take the time to follow sale papers, clip coupons s and spend their hard earned money in dollar general. I have witness many people leave the store over the way a cashier has spoke to a customer or management way of dealing gf or not dealing with it. Leave the store. I have seen so many ti.es ou n the past year that customers like myself get up to the register and it freeze for long periods of time most times we remain. Patient as this is not the fault of the cashier and it usually resolves itself within. A short amount t of time. I think this store could use a management makeover and definately extreme retraining on how a customern is to be spoken¹. To address or whatever Interaction calls for. A certain level of respect is mandatory if you intend to work in the retail industry otherwise its costing the establishment money. I go.to another Dollar general all together if I can but if I cant I get the bare minimum and I pay for it and Ieave.i certianly hope the issue is are abundant here if you have coupons. Customer service is an issue constantly. I hope to see them improve so that I wqill be able to change my opinion and submit a better review next time I shop there. Super disappointed...

I spent a good while looking through making sure the 3 were same price only to be told I did all that for nothing. Last time I was there you had a 2 for $5 on trash bags only to find out I couldn't combine the sizes. I already only go for urgent items.
