Silo Public Schools — Local services in Silo

I do not want to go back due to the fact that they do stuff last minute n talk about every student that they don’t like….everytime I was absent I would bring a hand written note like any other school they would take it n excuse your absence, on the last week of school the office administrator told me that they do not accept hand written notes last minute. I got so frustrated because I have 17 absences over the office administrator not telling me they don’t accept hand written notes but will sit there and take it out of your hand n say “thank you, go back to class”…due to absences the principle specifically told me that I was passing everything the only thing I needed was my absences…went to summer school finished my hours which was 72hrs and they sat there trying to say that I also failed n it wasn’t just the absences. I told my mom about this and she called up there asking why is he saying that I’m failing when specifically on the last day of school he said I was passing, he responded “did you get the emails I sent you” mom never changed her email and we did not receive nothing ,she even told him about how she wasn’t getting any messages he responded “ well that not my damn problem” this is coming from silo principle Mr Atwood. After that during the whole summer school I heard him n some other teachers talking about me. B4 my last day I heard my summer school teacher talking on the phone with her husband about me as well. After that my mom pulled me out silo on the last day of summer school. Out of every school I went to this is one of my worst experiences. 😕...

this place is stressful. its like a haunted house but you’re waiting for the jumpscare thing the whole time and it never comes, so you’re just extremely stressed out and uncomfortable the whole time....

My father went to Silo, my siblings and I went, now my kids go. It is the best school...
