I would highly recommend this automotive shop to anyone . They do it all from diesels to gas vehicles etc . So I called phase 2 and told them I would to swap my transmission from a 4l60e to 4l80e because the 60e had pretty much exploded as shown in the pics . I asked if they could do it and they said they could do it . They came and picked my truck from my house brought it back to the shop . That day they sent over an estimate to the the job and from me to authorize which I did everything was very detailed on what they was doing . The next day the transmission was out and the new one was in . At this point we was waiting on parts for the the swap to be fully functional. During this time they told me my rear pinion seal was leaking and sent me pictures of it . So they did the repeat steps with transmission asked for authorization before any work I accepted. When they went to change the rear pinion seal they drained the gear oil and noticed metal shavings and sent me a video . So they took the inspection cover off and everything was fine it was actually my fault for not changing the oil from when gears were put in it the break in oil . The fact they inspected it before they proceeded is going above and beyond if you ask me . The pics I listed below is the worked they did installing the trans , new TC , new crossmember , new trans lines , new trans cooler , new pinion seal . This shop is amazing like I couldn’t be more than satisfied with them . Since I can’t give more than five stars I’m gonna added them here...
Read moreI have a 2015 Chevy 3500 Duramax, that for the most part fell on its face. Had it towed to my regular mechanic. He did the diagnostics on it and found out that the #8 cylinder was dumping fuel into the oil system. When he called me about the problem,he told me that it was going to need quite a bit of work to fix it and he doesn't do that depth of work on Duramax engines. He has been my mechanic for close to 10 years and I trust him when he tells me anything about my other vehicles that he has worked on in the past. He referred me to Phase 2 Automotive. The owner of the shop and his mechanics looked at it and the four pistons on the driver's side were cracked. Tanner the owner of the shop laid out a couple of options for the repair. I decided to have the engine rebuilt by Phase 2. During the time the repairs took ,Tanner kept me informed of the process from start to finish. Got it back yesterday and I couldn't be more pleased with the work that was done. Very knowledgeable staff at his place as well as professional. Highly recommend Tanner...
Read morePhase II just finished up yet another job for me today, and I guess that makes around 5 total they've done ranging from simple fix stuff to some pretty labor intensive repairs. These include a near complete AC system in an Explorer, a transmission and transfer case in a duramax dually, and multiple others. I dropped off my yukon this morning for what will likely end up being a torque converter. These guys are as knowledgeable and professional as they come, communication is great, and they're as timely as parts will allow. it's nice to go to a shop where I know they're doing much more expensive jobs and still feel just as important and relevant when I need a quick fix or smaller job. I've always felt that the pricing I recieved was more than reasonable as well. I definitely recommend them and will continue to bring them all my business! Thanks for keeping all my stuff on...
