When I walked in I immediately loved the vibe and 2 of the ladies I encountered. My stylist was very very sweet and honest about what I was wanting and said she would get me as close to the color that she could. After an all day process the color is no where near what I wanted. Irregardless it is color, it’s whatever, I will learn to live with it no biggie I guess. However if it just would have popped maybe 5% more I could have fully been happy. It looks plain. My main problem here is the cut itself! The layers are basically non existent and the side bangs are bushy at the end and look like a little boys bangs. When it’s straight it just hangs there, no layers in sight. In the process of the cut the stylist said “I don’t know anything about bangs” but at this point I was scared to say anything about me not liking it because she was already looking mad that I was unsatisfied. I thought I had found my forever stylist but she didn’t like me and couldn’t even cut my hair right. Getting your hair done is supposed to make you happy, not make you cry all night because I know my hair is all I have left to...

The ladies at Studio One are friendly. I have never ever left a bad review but today was that day! Maggie cut my hair extremely short and uneven, one side is about an inch shorter than the other. The way she cut my hair was pretty much straight across with no layers. I really don’t know how to explain it , but it is definitely not what I wanted or expected! Maggie also colored my hair. I do know that color lightens up, but my hair is a very very dark brown it almost looks black. That is not the color I wanted! I can deal with that though. However, I’m having a hard time dealing with the cut! My choice now is to either get it shorter or extensions!!! I left that salon crying my eyes out! This place is great!! I must admit I was completely surprised to find such a wonderful hair salon in small town Silsbee and was really blessed with the the stylist that did my hair!!! Kat, my Stylist, made me feel so comfortable (1st time I had changed stylist in years which can be tramatic for some of us), she was absolutely great, very personable and really knows how to cut, color and style!! She listened to what I wanted and delivered!! I loved the cut and hi-lites!! I have gone for a second time now and Kat did another fantastic cut!! I HIGHLY recommend Studio One and ask for Kat!!!
