Took my 10 month old yorkie here for 5 nights & would use them again:) I thought their activity plan for small dogs sounded great. I dropped her off with Jay, who seemed like a caring enough fellow, and when I picked her up this morning 2 teen girls were working and then I felt surely my dog was cared for, protected & loved. I read reviews of dogs smelling of pee, but I paid for a bath so she smelled clean. Her bed smelled a little bit, but when dogs socialize outdoors, they run & rub under one another and roll around on the ground, so yeah, they are animals and mark with urine so naturally urine will be spread. I only donât give 5 stars since I didnât get (nor did I ask for) a tour of sleeping or indoor play area. But the outside looked clean and I arrived this morning to see my Paris frolicking among approximately 8 small dogs. My pup lives with 5 adult humans and I felt she got to visit a countryside setting with a lot of room to run, and socialize with dogs her own size where she wouldnât be harmed. I also weighed her when I got home and she was .4 lbs (6 oz) less which I would attribute to increased activity level. Lastly, when I was researching All reed dog boarding, I found Matt training Labradors back to at least 2003, so that speaks to expert level care of dogs in my opinion. Thank you Matt, Jay, and the 2 young gals, and any other Allbreeddogboarding staff for caring for my...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars, I would. These people were told that our dog was a runner. They still thought it was a good idea to put our dogs in a room with an open window which our dog quickly jumped out of and ran away. We were out of state and got the call that our dog was loose on the property and they could not get her to come to them. Matt the owner originally said he would take care of everything after we had to track our son down and find him a ride out to their facility to help wrangle our dog. This was a very stressful situation especially since we were out of state. Needless to say, Matt gave a very small discount on a $200 boarding charge for this inconvenience that ruined our entire 4 day trip. If you love your pets and want them in a boarding facility that you can trust, I would continue looking. This place is the cheapest in the area and there is a reason. They are under staffed and do not listen when you explain your animals personality. We boarded 2 dogs and would've been happy paying for one dogs stay. Why should we pay for a stay that was so stressful because if they're lack of follow through and professionalism. They chose to charge us for a horrible stay and have lost our business for around $40. I will never recommend this boarding facility and will tell everyone in the area know to avoid it. Very unprofessional and bad business. Go anywhere...
Read moreWe were nervous leaving our dog there last year. We had not left her in an overnight doggie care before. When we first got there Tampa kept hiding behind us and whining. Broke our hearts. The staff were so gracious. They showed us where she would be sleeping and playing. Did I mention that she had a bed and also a television? We picked Tampa up 3 days later and she seemed to have done fine.
HOWEVER, the real test was when we took her back a few months later. When we entered the gate - she became excited. When we entered the office to check her in, she kept excitedly going to the door leading to where she would be with other dogs. She didn't even say 'good-bye'! Then, to top it off, when we were backing out someone brought several dogs out at once to play outside. There was our Tampa LEADING the pack and prancing about. We had no idea she liked this place so much.
Thank you. It is wonderful to know she is so happy when...
