Called and a gentleman answered and sent a crew to look at the pump at property we just bought. He did not discuss costs, not did the guys who came out. Spoke to the lady the next day and she said we need to pay $200 and she sent me an email with the bill as well as a quote. She said the quote needed to be signed. On that Friday I went to the office and arrived at 4:40 pm. They close at 5pm. Called and and it went to voicemail. Went back on Monday and they have a sign that says customers cannot enter the office. Called while in the parking lot and it went to voicemail. Got a call back about 30 minutes later after I left. Lady got defensive and swore up and down that the sign did not exist, and that they closed early on Friday. A professional office would have noted that on the voicemail greeting. At least the guys that came out were nice. I feel her negative attitude and rudeness counters the $200 fee that the guy did not discuss. In response to them...We did not own the property Until the beginning of March. We did not know there was a pump problem until then. Calling does no good when all you get is voicemail and 45 min to an hour before...
Read moreJust before Christmas as we were trying to get ready to leave in a couple of days our water quit working. I was watering horses at the time. I checked fuses and circuit breaker and they were good. I called a company within a few miles. They couldn't get to it that day and next day was supposed to be a storm. They gave me a couple of options but recommended Hamacher well works first. Certainly glad they did. They gentleman I first contacted was great to work with. First he suggested I try a few things to save me a service call and try to get us running. I didn't realize how the contacts on the pressure switch worked so I had himself a crew. They were here within an hour which is good since they are about 35 miles away. They were very friendly. Checked everything out, replaced the pressure switch and we were back in business. Two days later got the bill and again I was very pleased. The price of the switch around $30 and the service call price exactly as I was told. Great place and I would highly recommend them for any well...
Read moreThis company drilled my well 23 years ago. Since then, I've had to buy parts from them and had a service call last week due to a close lightning strike which caused a lot of problems in my home. This is one of the few businesses out there that still have someone answering their phone, and if you do need to leave a message, they call back promptly. I didn't have water, and they came out first thing in the morning to resolve my problem. I'm retired and I was terrified of how much the bill was going to be, but luckily it was an easy fix and I just had to pay for travel time. Granted, that wasn't cheap, but better than it could have been. I would recommend this company. They are still around and still giving great service. Thanks to Donna who answers the phone, and the guys, including the owner, who came out on the...
