This place is beautiful and I would love to give 5 stars, but I've can't because of sprinkler issues. During my first stay, the sprinklers came on at 10pm which forced everyone inside. Everything, chairs, firewood and all, were soaked. This year we stayed in a different part of the park. The sprinklers did not come on at 10pm, however, when they did come on, just like the year before, our fire pit, wood and chairs got soaked. I would advise the owners to inform the campers of what time the sprinklers will come on in the part of the park you are staying in. That way we could cover the fire pit, the wood, our chairs, and bring things in from the table so it doesn't get wasted. Even in 90 degree weather our fire pit did not dry out by the time we're ready to have a fire around 8 p.m.

On the other hand, the place is beautiful. The landscaping, trails, cabins and countless, colorful wildflowers just about any way you look. There is a gorgeous small lake with a water fountain jetting out from the middle of they lake. At about any time in the summer, there will be some geese enjoying this beautiful little gem.

As much as I love it there, the sprinkler issue is so maddening, that it makes me think twice about going there again. Like I said, if they would at least inform all campers when the sprinklers are set to come on, campers would be able to prepare. I also think 10pm is too early. Depending on where your site is, the sprinkler times are different. We wasted so much wood and had puddles in our camp chairs...

Let me start by saying this is beautiful and well kept facility with nice amenities. Landscaped, heated pool, quality hookups, etc. So why the 3 stars? Site allocation. I read that sites would be assigned at check-on so I was aware of the policy, I just didn't expect to get one of the 2 worst sites in the place (site 21)...closest to the road, no shade and since it was out by itself no wind protection from other RVs so we couldn't extend our awning for fear of being ripped off (Bend can get windy). I immediately saw at check in the road proximity and requested a change and was rebuffed. So I went with it. The family in the other bad site, threatened to leave and got moved, I found this out the 4th of 4 nights when it wasn't worth packing up otherwise I would have done the same. There are 4 ways I can see solving this 1) people staying 1 or 2 night get these sites 2) offer a 20% discount to take the first couple rows 3) offer site specific booking. 4) people paying the lowest discounted rates get them. We paid full boat, no discount, not even good sam and got stuck with this site.

edit after owner response My point is there is variation in site quality within the campground yet their pricing doesn't reflect this difference. Their response confirms this point of view by saying the late bookers get these spots, well let the late bookers know this so they can make an...

We stayed here last year for a few days and watched the eclipse. We were very pleased and excited to come back this year. I booked way in advance, was told we would be in a specific site. I confirmed this several times. Was disappointed to find they gave our site to someone else when we arrived around 3pm. They moved us to a less desirable site. I know things happen and cannot always be guaranteed. So i just excepted it. But confirmed our site again for 3 weeks later when we were coming back to stay. I seriously almost cried when we arrived, exhausted from a long trip at only 4pm to be told that they had given our site away again! They moved us to a much less desirable one right next to the noisy hwy. I paid in advance and was told everytime I made a reservation what site I would have. Needless to say I had them refund my money and thankfully was fortunate enough to get a site at the Creekside rv campground. Best thing ever! Seriously, so beautiful, clean, backs up to the creekside park and several greenbelts. And right behind the gorgeous town of Sisters! Bike and walking trails lead you right to everything. And half the price! Honestly if id known about Creekside sooner I would have chosen to stay over garden rv in the first place. Plus garden rv's wifi is horrible. Creekside rv wifi is great, maybe because its closer to town. Picture is view...

Bend/Sisters Garden RV Resort is our 83rd stop and we stayed for 14 days and used it for the jumping off point to Sisters, Bend and surrounding areas. This is definitely in our top picks of places we have stayed. I was warmly greeted by Andrew at check in and found all camp hosts to be very pleasant. The grounds are impeccably clean with great flowers throughout with green grass in all areas including your site – dodged a lot of sprinklers. The sites are nicely spaced, the asphalt it level, you have a nice paver stone patio and the picnic table is high quality. Most of the sites have some shade. There are numerous signs around regarding pets on the grass (as a number of pet owners cannot pick up after their pet); however, there is a quarter mile dog walk path at the front of of the park but even better, there is a 10 acre off leash area in the rodeo area - my pup loved it. There is some road noise since the park is on US20 but no worse than other parks we have stayed in. Highly recommend this park as destination and would stay here again in the future. Connectivity late afternoon: Verizon 105 down/21.4 up; T-Mobile 12.9 down/2.0 up; WiFi 1.0 down/0.4 up (one device per code) so minimally adequate for general tasks.
