Extra Space Storage — Local services in Skippack Township

Iv had my stuff here for years and It’s always been very clean and it’s in a good location. However, I just recently moved all my stuff out a week before the end of the month. I had put in my account prior to getting charged my move out date. Then I got charged all of march, no problem. I called for a prorated refund. I was told no problem. Never got anything back. Once I left I still didn’t get anything, I messaged customer service who told me I had to get prorated before I got charged. I told them I put in my move out date before I got charged. He said it’s only a few days so it won’t be much of anything. Basically telling me there’s no point. Iv been extremely busy moving while being pregnant and have not been by my phone. I got a call from Jason who left a voicemail basically saying I moved out at the end of the month so it won’t be much of anything. Something along the lines to the customer service rep I talked too. I don’t care if i’m asking for a prorated refund for 3 days or 10 it’s still something to me. And rightfully my money since my stuff wasn’t being stored there for a whole week.

this is a great storage unit facility but it’s disappointing to know I used the move out feature online to notify them of my move out date in February and I’m basically getting refused a refund because it’s “not worth the little amount” or “I didn’t notify them in advance” which I did. One person’s stuff is another person’s treasure . I, for one, treasure my stuff: my 70 yrs.old baby shoes and porcelain tub ; my 103 years old mother’s keeps sakes and few other things that were acquired along life’s journey . Moving from a three bedroom home to a one bed room condo required a bit of creative storage planning. Jason and Extra Storage Space - Skippack - to the rescue. The customer service was extraordinary . Jason professionally answered all my questions and helped me to select the best unit for my storage needs . He is very personable . The Skippack location is clean and appears well maintained .

Although having my stuff may no longer be as close by as before, I am nevertheless happy knowing all of it is safe, secured and readily accessible .

Can’t say enough about my experience so far with this facility, in Skippack, PA. I had a slight bit of hesitation when signing up because it was $10 or so more than the previous company I had used who didn’t currently have any available units. However, the condition of this facility, the staff, and the overall ease of the entire process was worth double what I was paying before. Jen & Jason were happy to answer any questions and fulfill any request that I had. They are also very easy to get ahold of when I need them, which is unfortunately not that common these days.
