My husband and I were travelling through the New Orleans area and were interested in seeing the rivers and bayous in the surrounding area. When we were looking at tour options, there were several companies running tours but the boats looked pretty packed in the photos and so we went on the hunt to find a smaller, less known company to give us a tour. The tour ended up being great and we got to ask all the questions we wanted. This tour had information about history, wildlife, plantlife and how the river is used today. Our guide has had family in the region for generations and was able to show us pictures of buildings that were long torn down, because his family worked there. Very cool. Tour guide was excellent, tour was excellent as well. Read moreMy wife, dog and I! Went to another place to do an airboat ride. It was fun, loud and a very industrial tourism place. I saw that those other places swamp boat tours were also very industrial.
It took some time but this was the right tour company for us to do a bayou swamp tour.
The place was so very beautiful. Our tour guide Rod, listened to what we we wanted to see and delivered!
The smaller boat took the 3 of us into gorgeous locations. We saw lots of wildlife!

Read moreSo glad we found Rod and this tour company. It was definitely what we were looking for. It was an informative eco tour as opposed to the corny industrial "feeding alligators" tours that are in the surrounding area.
Rod was very knowledgeable and showed us how beautiful that area is. It was a small boat and our group of 4 had it to ourselves.
