The main reason I still go is because it's a tradition of my family since I grew up there. I now travel 2 hrs one way to see overpriced items and tons of empty spots. My parents even said that 2023 year has been the worst yet. With that being said $5 is a little hefty of a price considering that's just admission alone..... Updated 2024....This fair is horrible $5 to see what? Thursday animals were gone, food prices were an arm and leg, have to pay extra for events at the grandstand and to ride the half broken down rides and many people working the fair was just plain rude!

A fun, reasonably priced fair that's easy to access. There are lots of good food options and we'll maintained rides. It's a winner for our family, but I do wish there was more shade there for hot days.

Fair itsself was ok, but the guy running the merry mixer was completely rude yelling and swearing at kids and getting in adults faces . It's not a place to be acting like that !

The fair itself is a great time, but the people that volunteer (they do volunteer, right? because god forbid they actually pay these people) to run the gates and direct traffic are the rudest people I've ever encountered.

Once you finally get parked, you have to deal with the ticket witch of the west. She rips the tickets out of your had with such malice, its like shes karen reluctantly accepting a refund from the manager. If thats not bad enough, she stamps your kid’s arm with such force they start crying. And the spitefulness is insane. Say anything out of the way as a result of these actions, and expect to be treated like a child in preschool. They’ll finish the conversation off with the kind of facetious “thank you very much” that would make a saint want to scream.

Again, I really hope they don't pay these people, because they aren’t worth the sub minimum wage dollars...

First time at this fair. It is a great time with rides, games, farm animals, exhibits, (a few will take you back in time) . Many merchants selling cool stuff. Some are free (like chip clips, Frisbee, magnets) They also offer food trucks with just about anything to satisfy your hunger and ice cream as desert. Homemade lemonade, soft pretzels etc. They have a derby too. It's a great place for the family. Another great year at the...
