Anytime Fitness — Local services in Smithville

I use the anytime in n excelsior and came to this one because I visit my BF in the area and this gym had cords everywhere and the equipment was hard to get around. Also the fitness room or cardio room whatever you call it- did not have any supplies to use for alone time because I don’t like to be watched when using hand held weights and doing crunches etc. and the gym in excelsior give you more items to use and equipment is nice. Owner charged me for months of time past when I had tried to cancel, told me he has to charge some people who “forget to cancel” to “keep the lights on” and then told me to “come to the gym and say that to his face” when I called his business shady. Fantastic gym, horrible service.

My husband and I are in the area very frequently visiting family but not permanent residents since he is Active Duty. Normally, AF are very military friendly and work to avoid ostracizing visiting military or family members by offering day passes or temporary passes. This one apparently won't. We are often in town for weeks at a time. To not offer the over-priced smaller use passes just seems like bad business practice.
