Today (07-04-2025) 4 of my friends and my self played golf on the posse at paradise pointe, our tee time was 7am, we were the second group out, the first group was a 2some, on hole 11 we were stopped by the Marshall who said your 3 holes behind you need to pick up the pace, I kinda ignored him and kept playing, I checked my watch and said I’m gonna time our next hole, 2 holes later the Marshall was waiting for us and said your now 4 holes behind, when I timed the hole it took us 13 min to do a par 5 with 4 players, to me that’s pretty fast, the Marshall then argued with us about going too slow, very angry, talking to us like we were beneath him, he was arguing with my friend as he was being explained the group behind us hadn’t tee’d off and we are off the green on a par 4, and the group in front of us is a 2some they should go faster, the Marshall kept going on and on with my friend, I then calmly said to the Marshall if we are the problem, if they’ll refund our money we will gladly leave, he then had an attitude with me, I said sir I’m talking to you respectfully why the attitude, he then replied I didn’t say u had to leave, take it up with the club house if you want your money back, I said it’s fine I’ll make a review, he replied I hear that all the time, I laughed and said that’s not something you should hear all the time……..he drove off and didn’t bother us again, we finished the round in 4 hours and 20 min, if this was an isolated incident I would not complain but this is the third or 4th time I’ve had a problem here, I don’t think it was a coincidence we were an all black 4some, no other black people on the entire course and he came straight to us………last time I was here I was with a white friend and the Marshall said to my white friend that’s cool your helping him golf, referring to me, my friend said he’s better then me what you talking about……I think if you of color or support equality you should think twice about...
Read moreThe course conditions are really good for this early in the year. Also the starter ( Mark I think) was also very nice. The complaint was the pace of play. This was a Tuesday afternoon. The first 7 holes went well. Then it came to a near stop. It took nearly 2 hours to play the next 5 holes. At 13 there were 4 groups waiting to tee off. I was the 3rd. One person called the clubhouse to get a something done. They said it was just very busy but grudgingly said they’d send a Marshall out. I waited 25 minutes to just tee off on that hole alone. After teeing off I just gave up and headed in. On the way in 13-16 we’re busy but 17 and 18 we’re empty. The 4some on 16 slowed at least 12 groups behind them down to a crawl. This was at least a 1/2 hour after the clubhouse was notified and they still had everyone backed up. So the Marshall obviously didn’t do his job. I feel sorry for the people that tried to finish. They had at least a 5-1/2 hour round and couldn’t have finished before dark. Course was nice/course pace was horrendous. I can’t recommend it...
Read moreWe played Posse a couple of weeks ago. It was a mediocre course so we thought we would try Outlaw today. This was the second worst round of golf I have played in my life. The course was incredibly backed up. We waited 5 to 15 minutes at every tee box. We saw a drink cart on Hole six and never again for the rest of the day. An additional almost 4 hours with no food or drink. We had no idea that we didn't pass the clubhouse at the turn. By the end of the day we had very low blood sugar and were dehydrated. Needless to say, by the end of the course, we were hitting badly. To top it all off, they had just sanded the greens, so it was almost impossible to read the greens due to all of the obstructions. We will probably go back to Posse, but never...
