33 years ago, yes, 33 years ago we moved to Washington DC on a temporary assignment and were told by Dover DE friends about the quality of workmanship done by the Kenton Chair Shop. We drove over to Kenton DE and visited the Kenton Chair Shop. We ordered a set of 6 oak Windsor Chairs to match a pestle dinning table we had. Yes, 33 years later we are still using those chairs. They are as good as new! They are still solid, stable chairs, better built then any other piece of furniture we have ever owned. They have stood up to the abuse of being sat in every night for 33 years, kicked and banged around by our now grown children, and being moved back and forth across the country. They have even held up to the changing environment of being moved to the desert southwest (where the humidity is usually less than 15%) and back to the southern US where the humidity stands from 60-90%. without pulling loose at the joints. I seldom do Google reviews of any kind but I'm making an exception here. If I could give them 10 stars I would! I've just completed a bathroom remodel and used KCS for my cabinets. They have worked with me every step of the way. The quality of my cabinets are absolutely the best around. They are solid wood and gorgeous. No comparison to box stores or online. Ethan and Duayne were able to make changes/additions easily and quickly. We wound up adding a bench, a shelf, and some additional molding and they took care of it seamlessly.
