If not for how good the performers were, this would be a 1-2 star experience. We bought tickets, were told it would be about 45 minutes till we could do the main attraction and it took double that long to actually start.
We waited in line for an escape room that promptly closed due to being broken before we could get in. No signage was ever put up stating it was broken, so for the rest of the night wed keep checking.
They played exclusively pop music in the main area. I would understand alternating Halloween songs with pop music, but when its Journey and Backstreet Boys I am not put into the Halloween spirit.
We paid for an escape room but never got to do one as the short one closed and the longer one had a large line that we didnt think we'd be able to get through before our turn. We were very, very wrong, as after eating and waiting for the short one we still had an hour before it was our turn.
The positives are the staff and the main event. I really loved how the actors seemed to enjoy their jobs and they really tried to spook the adults over the kids sometimes. They were the absolute stars of this place and the only reason Id return next year.
If youve got about an hour and want to get through everything quick, spend the $50/person to get the fast passes and be done with everything they offer in a less time than we waited...
Read more2023 was our 10th visit to the Fear Farm and this year could be their best season ever. A completely revamped entrance to the haunt features a new scene only the general admission victims get to experience, luring them in to face their fears. Fear Farm features a haunted trail that is around ¾ of a mile long full of original characters that you will only see at the farm. The Abyss may be the darkest maze in the Carolina’s, halls get slimmer, ceilings get smaller and the whole time your fears grow as you lose any sense of direction you may have had. Mineshaft Mayhem is one of the better mineshaft type scenes in South Carolina the characters here really get into their roles! The Farmhouse is great, Twisty z’s is fun but My favorite scene at the Fear Farm in 2023 was without a doubt Confinement! This scene is a candidate for Fears Favorite new scene in 2023! This is a great set with some awesome actors and an extra interactive scene that many haunts would charge extra for in their midway. Without any spoilers this scene is near the beginning of Confinement and it makes the experience truly over the top! All the above along with a great staff that cares about your experience makes Fear Farm one of Fears Favorite haunts! Don’t be a chicken, visit the Fear...
Read moreThe only thing scary about this place is how much time you will wait in lines. And they constantly stop you thru the whole attraction to wait in a line to help out vip people. Do yourself a solid and go somewhere else. The pyramids was more exciting than this borefest of lines
Just to let others know about the response that they gave my post. They in fact were not that busy that night like they said. And a good steak house is outback. They were chilis. Meaning not worth the wait seeing they are charging as much as they are. And geez don't buy a the coolaid drinks that cost 20 cents to make for 8 bucks. You ain't scarowinds. Your local right? Pffft. Instead of apologizing for the experience you decide to give me excuses. Only further incentivizing me to go somewhere else. And by the way don't pay for the VIP tickets because they're not monitoring that as a matter of fact we overheard people joining the VIP line when they didn't even pay for the VIP tickets. They are a rip off with the VIP thing. Thanks...
