No matter what you go for they won't fix you the first time. They like to make sure you come twice, so that you can pay them some extra money.
The front office people are nice and great. Also, PA Gordon does a great job. Listens to you even when he is busy, and does the right thing.
I believe the doctors and PAs get bonuses if they cause you to have to come more than once.
They don't care about your life situation or a work situation they don't understand that not everybody can call off anytime they want. No matter how much you tell them no matter what you say they're extremely disrespectful in that manner.
Like I said the front office people are great but the doctors they'll do anything they can to make sure that you have to pay more. I would rather just pay more the first time. Even if I had to PayPal them an extra 250 or something, just to get right.
If take a vehicle to get the brakes done and they claim they put new brakes on. I leave and hear squeaking. I take of the wheels and, no new brakes, I'm going to demand they fix it right or get my money back. Doctors and hospitals can do whatever they want. Refuse to fix things, sometimes even until it is too late with no consequences.
Response to your response. I did call in and talk to an administrator. I'm sure no one will do anything or hold anyone accountable.

   Read moreThe nurses are nice and also are the doctors. this place is one of the better UPMC hp to go to bc they actually care and take care of their patients.... now onto the bad experience I was there with my mom and we got back in a room and I had to go get something out of my truck and then come back in . well the receptionist which is blond in her 50s maybe early 60s was there and I was just letting her know that I was there to be let back to be with my mom and well I got a really rude response.... she said "I'll get to it when I want to and ull have to wait" and i just said back well u don't have to be SO RUDE!!!!! I was just letting you know i was here to be let back in..... the date that were there was feb 25th and it was about 2:00 pm when this happened... i know that they always watch out for each other and blow it off as the patient or family were to blame but this lady needs REPERMANDED and told to be nice and not so rude to people bc it's just wrong.... please UPMC take care of this person before it gets way out of hand.... ...
   Read moreMy experience with the staff was professional. Nevertheless, I was sent here by my neurosurgeon due to on going issues after back surgery, for an MRI. I called a week after to see what was going on with the dictation of the imaging. I was notified that there is a backlog and it would take about a month! I then notified my neurosurgeon's office, they said they will put in a request for the reading the week of my appointment. I just called UPMC Bedford again, to see where we are with this, so my surgeons office doesnt have to go out of their way. I was told it will still be about a month, and no promises on the dictation by the time I go to my appointment. Reguardless, if my surgeon can read it himself or not, you should not have to wait a month. Start deferring patients who need imaging elsewhere so you can catch up. This...
