Please do not go here. I would give them a negative score if I could. I went here with my son and family friend and when a parking attendant jumped in front of the car (he wasnât directing traffic and he wasnât wearing anything that would imply he was an employee and not just another customer) and when I asked why he did that (not helping the other customer park, but why he lunged in front of our car) he got an attitude and began to argue with me. At one point, he told me to âgo back homeâ. And I thought that was strange that he didnât just say leave, so I think that comment may have been in reference to my race. We were still waiting to park because we had to go to handicap parking, and we told him that, to which he said âyour thing isnât upâ so we held up the handicap parking plaque and weâre trying to explain that youâre not actually suppose to drive with it up, but only put it up once youâve parked. He said âtoo bad, go aroundâ (meaning go park somewhere else) and still physically blocked us front entering handicap parking. When we confronted him about the discrimination and told him he probably shouldnât discriminate he said âya okay, sureâ and walked off. I had my 4 year old son with me who was super excited about pumpkins so I was trying not to let this ruin his time. We went in only to be greeted with fields of smashed and moldy pumpkins. It was only a week before Halloween, but I couldnât believe that they didnât want people/customers that there were no more pumpkins. Every single person and family that was also in the field agreed and were also visibly upset. Most of them took wheelbarrows out to the field, just to leave them there and go back to their cars once they realized the horrible selection. I tried asking an employee for the parking attendants info and name, but he didnât know and he also didnât know where his manager was. So when I got home I emailed the farm asking for this mans name (and explaining what had happened) because I am going to report him. He shouldnât be around people or in customer service if he is going to be rude, aggressive, and use discrimination to try to control people. This was over a week ago now and Iâve heard nothing back. I tried calling the farm and of course since Halloween is over, the pumpkin season is over, so they donât take calls? Apparently they will only take calls when they are making cash. So I called the wedding and field trip lines and left messages, because of course they will listen to messages that they believe were left to talk about cash.
Iâm super upset about what happened at the farm, and even more upset that this company couldnât care less. I just wanted the mans name so I could report him, but I will have to assume their lack of response/care means that they condone this type of behavior and I will just have to report the whole farm, as clearly they are complicit with this man and his...
Read moreUPDATE (2025)âââââ: Craven Farm has improved their pumpkin patch experience over the last few years. Rather than a weekend trip, we have visited yearly on LWSD 's friday LEAP day, which means it's not busy and the kids can play for hours, returning to everything 2-3 times without long lines. New additions / improvements include: coffee stand separate from the store; expanded putt putt course; many more pre-staged pumpkin photo backdrops; larger pumpkin washing area; additional pumpkin display "wall"; relocation of children's and larger mazes w/online map; additional food stands (reducing lines).
Original Visit (2022) âââ: Our family visited here last Saturday of October. After raining nonstop for a week, it was a dry but very foggy morning when we arrived at the Farm. Their parking was well organized, with attendants to guide vehicles, some parking areas less muddy than others, so my advice is to get there early to get the better parking spot if it's been raining for days like it just had been.
The main area is free to walk around but the pumpkin patch activities must be paid for either individually or by purchasing a wristband for $22+tax. Activities include: mini golf - apple slingshot - kids adventure maze - hayride - cow train - duck race - 15 acre large maze etc
We were disappointed with the large maze as we did not receive a maze map (even after asking for one) and there was none available online. We wandered about aimleslessly and there's nothing extraordinary about the maze - no scavenger hunt or similar - (if you have been to The Farm in Snohomish with their Washington State Maze, this was paltry by comparison).
Whilst there were some food choices (curds, corn, donuts, popcorn), it was a much more limited offering than other pumpkin patches, with apple cider being the only available beverage. Honestly I'm glad we had the forethought to bring snacks and water bottles.
The pumpkin patch was muddy so pack rain boots. The pumpkins were well picked over so we decided to head home without our annual pumpkin purchase. Serves us right for leaving it to the last weekend to get them! Ha!
Would we go back? After a family vote (2 adults, 3 kids under 12) it was a resounding "no". We have visited many pumpkin patches in the area over the years and we felt that the others are better. But that's just...
Read moreNighttime Corn Maze was our adventure - $12 was to include a evening firepit with smores. I wanted to enjoy and give this place 5 stars but everything they promised did not happen.
I took my older parents, 2 friends and my 2 boys. It was to celebrate my sons birthday...i promised him smores out at the nightly fire AS ADVERTISED. This didnt happen...not even an attempt...sure it had rained early in the day but even i checked the weather and knew we were going to have a clear night. There sat a empty, no wood, to be seen firepit. So much for that promise i made.
Next...we hit the corn maze. Needless to say at 8:45 at least 30+ people were going crazy since we couldnt find our way out. Strangers were teaming up trying to get out, I overheard teenagers telling their parents they couldnt be home on time becsuse they couldnt find the exit. My sons were upset and wanted us to call 911.
I googled the website and it states if lost in the maze "look for the corn cops"....ummmm no one saw a "corn cop"...their were no staff around except for at the main building to take your money. Then it stated to call the # given...no # given so i called the main line. Guess what....no one to answer the phone.
It was almost 9pm and no staff coming to help lost corn maze enthusiasts. We were literally becoming the children of the corn.
After finding our way out the one staff member we saw was approached. We told her there were still families, kids & moms who wanted out lost in the maze. The woman told us there were no "corn cops" that night. Now keep in mind they only do this 4 nights a year. Then the woman said she could text the people in the maze if we had their #. Ummmmm...they arent our friends...we dont have their phone #...but they ARE YOUR CUSTOMERS...go help them!!!
Needless to say...alot of advertising for stuff not offered. And the lack of staff & flippant attitude for customer safety will have made this a "One and...
