Mi Mercadito — Local services in Socorro

Went through the drive though and had to wait 30 minutes to be served through the drive through. When I get to the window the employee in is on their cellphone asking me if I could wait because they are on a call… I’m thinking they are talking to their boss but it turns out they are on the phone with their friends laughing while I’m waiting… the second time I go and this same person is attending I again wait 30 minutes and when I get to the window they laugh at the wait time…. Tried talking to employees but they keep this same person employed …. For them to have the audacity for this same employee who disrespects costumers is astonishing. I’ve never had a bad experience with any other employee besides this person...

It's a pretty nice, little Mexican grocery store for fast food, and burritos. But there are a couple of things that make it bad. They do not wear gloves when handling the cooked food! The other day I was there and a woman that serves burritos, had dollar bills hanging from her clothes, since it was her birthday. But every time she would get a dollar and put it on, she would go back to making the burritos, with no gloves on!!! YUCK! The men's bathroom is also in poor condition and the women's is always out...

Be careful with this grocery store if the woman is there she always charges you something different and with a bag of bad apples marked .99 she charged 75 cents of tax!!!!!!! You should never charge tax on food unless its junk food!...
