Love the course but they are so incredibly rude and disrespectful. The last two visits did me in. We just finished at the first tee when when a staff member came up in a cart and rudely told us to move aside because a twosome was joining. No problem with that except for the attitude and tone of the staff. Apparently the couple who joined were treated the same way and were told to get moving because we had already started.
Last week my husband and I went to play and got there around 4:45. For two to play 9 with one cart was $64 dollars. Seemed high and when we asked we were basically told thatās just the way it is. We stopped to grab a couple beers and our neighbor was there so we chatted for a few minutes. A staff member came out and told us to get moving since carts arenāt supposed to go out after 5 and it was already after 5. When I checked my phone it was 5:01!!!! Really? That did it for us. There are plenty of courses that treat paying customers with respect. There is no need for such rotten behavior. This has gone on for years. They are even more ornery with young people.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have played the course multiple times now over the last few years expecting changes. The course itself isnāt a 1 star. However, what brings it down are the very long fairways (grass length, not distance), the bumpy, patchy greens, and above all , the rules they try to enforce. I tried to play in 2024 with my girlfriend who usually tags along. I was expecting to have to pay just a cart fee for her but they tried to charge a full 9. I just went recently and was going to walk with her knowing they would charge for a cart. They said spectators arenāt allowed and made me pay a cart fee for her to follow me around. Grassmere is just a few miles away, and while itās only a 9 hole course they are so much more lenient and easy going, and the course is in better shape. The guy in the golf shop, think his name is Steve, needs to work on his attitude, really fits the stereotypical āold...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI drove by the course earlier this week and loved the look of it. So I called this morning to get a tee time and try the course. I talked to a person in the pro shop. I was told it was very busy today but I could get a noon tee time. I said okay, then said I would be a single. I was then told it was all 4 somes and it would be very slow. I said I was not worried and that I bought a new driver that I could work on. I was just trying to explain that slow play would not bother me. Also I would have walked as a single so no worries. After my working on my driver comment I was told I could not play 2 balls. I was told it's a course rule. I thought that was very rude and surely not enforced. I just said after being told that 2 balls are not allowed..thank you and I ended the call. I will never play that...
