I thought the actual welcome center had a lot of pamphlets and a lot of information about different cities in Tennessee... The problem came when I asked about the snack area she told me they had one but the pilot truck stop was just up the road I knew about what was on the road but lo and behold that was her way of telling me about the vending area without telling me about it.... I TRIED CASH AND DEBIT DIDN'T RECEIVE ANY PRODUCT IN 1,000 NICKELS LATER WITH MY $5 CASH AND TWO CHARGES ON MY DEBIT CARD THAT SAME WOMAN TRIED TO AVOID ME BUT I KNEW SHE WAS DOING THAT AND CAUGHT HER AND TOLD HER MY OPINION OF THIS..... IT'S A NICE PLACE BUT DO NOT USE ANY OF THE VENDING MACHINES..... Feels like a little side hustle splitting that money up whenever.... The reason I say that because it would be so easy to just put out...

Didn't get a chance to go in. So I'll leave a review from the outside experience. I wasn't here 5 minutes before the security was at my door like a greyhound dog. They only have maybe 10 trucker spots. I couldn't even make a quick sandwich is she was standing outside of my door.. I wish I had a luxury to sit inside of the building and eat my lunch like you did Lady. Unfortunately us truckers are out here moving product around for people like you to sit down and just order. I wish people were more hip to what truckers go...

This was a unique find/stop and a fun surprise to explore. We were greated with friendly, smiling faces and encouraged to explore and staff didn't even bat an eye with my service dog. Over all, a great place to recharge, use the restroom and learn about solar and electricity. If your passing thru, I encourage you to stop and explore also. Plus, the facility was immaculately...

Big space to get a good walk in, Great place to sit and have a picnic, snacks and book store inside, NO PETS ALLOWED INSIDE THANK GOD, PLENTY OF PARKING, WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE, AND CLEAN REST ROOMS FOR MEN AND WOMEN INCLUDING FAMILY RESTROOM. THE MALE REST ROOM SING DIDN'T HAVE ENOUGH WATER PRESSURE MY BOYFRIEND SAID AND THE WOMENS WORKED JUST FINE.

This is the coolest visitor center I've been to yet. There is a track to walk, a solar farm surrounding the center, and an interactive mini solar museum with a history of solar power discovery, development, and advancement of future plans. Clean open restrooms, plus brochures of things to do broken down into west, middle, and east Tennessee.

The exit is a little tight/tricky but the welcome center is clean. A little longer walk than most rest areas to the restrooms if you have mobility issues. The dog park was huge and had agility obstacles in it along with several picnic tables. I do wish that it had a shaded area though. A water fountain would be nice too.
