If I could give this company less than 1 star, I would most definitely do so. I have never experienced such terrible customer service as I did with this company. By no other than the General Manager. His name is Mark. My party of 6 booked the Sonoma Wine Trolley over a month in advance. We are traveling from Florida and wanted to make sure our vacation was going to be seamless. Much to our dismay, Mark called, a week prior to our arrival, and informed us that he was cancelling our trolley booking due to a âtransmissionâ issue and could not accommodate us. That was it. No let me see who I can call to assist you in booking another excursion. Thatâs right, we were on our own. He said he would send us a refund. It it could take up to a week. Gee, thanks.
I called to speak to Mark and was greeted by a very nice and helpful individual named Sally. She was apologetic and sympathetic to our problem. She also informed me that there was no transmission issue, but a shortage of drivers. She told me she would call accounting and expedite our refund, if she could. I thanked her. When I called her back, Mark answered and was belligerent to me. Claiming to be doing everything he can possibly do to help us out as he was raising his voice and not letting me get a word in. This guy needs to go back to school and learn about a thing called customer service and courtesy. He must be related to the owner. I canât possible fathom any other reason they would keep him in a position that involves customer relations.

Read moreMom and I took the Sonoma Valley Wine Trolley on the Thursday before Memorial Day weekend. The trolley had a maintenance issue that day and our group ended up in a black mini coach instead. The bus sat 15, and it was a full house! Our guide Dennis was great and kept our rowdy group wrangled and on schedule throughout the day.
While we enjoyed all four wineries, Buena Vista stood out as our favorite for many reasons: our tasting guide and the stories he told, the tour of the various tasting rooms and caves, and (of course) the wine.
Lunch at the second winery of the day was very good, and consisted of a choice of paninis, potato salad, and kettle chips, with a scoop of gelato for dessert. They also had a little chocolate shop where we picked up a few truffles for a late night sweet snack.
There was definitely something for everyone on this tour, and you can even have wine shipped to your home if you find something you like (state laws may prohibit this under certain circumstances; check with the winery). ...
Read moreWe celebrated my soon to be sister-in-law's bachelorette in Sonoma earlier this month and one of the activities the maid of honor chose for us was this wine trolley. We weren't sure what to expect, but we certainly enjoyed our time in the end! We were the first group to arrive and got the run down from the driver. The first part of the trolley the driver gave us a bit of a history lesson for Sonoma Valley then he moved into playing music for us. We went to 4 wineries starting with the largest one and finishing with the smallest. The first had incredible photo ops and by the last one we were singing all the songs having a blast! Be sure to bring something warm to wear as we ended up in the open air into the early evening and some of our party was getting very chilly. It was overall a very enjoyable experience. Be prepared to spend a decent amount of money if you plan on wine tasting at each winery and purchasing any of the bottles afterwards. I've attached a few of the views we saw on...
