This place is a gem, especially for families with young children! Our kids (under 5 years) have been taking lessons here for a couple of years. Not only are the lessons affordable, the staff are fantastic. They teach the children real horsemanship and riding skills, unlike other places we've been where the kids basically just sit on the horse while an instructor leads them around. Our kids are learning how to groom and saddle their horses. In the arena, they're learning how to steer and control their speed. The facilities are clean, the horses are very well-taken care of, and I can't say enough great things about the staff. Horses get turned out everyday. Stalls get cleaned and waters always filled. Also It’s in a beautiful location, perfect for visitors and open to the public for tours. They also offer lessons and trail rides and have an amazing string of horses to accommodate each specific rider. Most of the staff were friendly but one of the people in charge was patronizing, bordering on chiding / scolding.
