South Bay RV Park — Local services in South Bay

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Listen up, all RV Park owners, architect's, engineer's, this RV Park should be the prototype for all RV Parks. Full hook up, wide streets, asphalt pads wide enough for 40 foot RV, full size pick up and 21 foot boat (not cramped), plus well kept picnic table's on cement pad and grill. Well kept asphalt walking/biking trail 3/4s of the way around pond then gravel, common fire rings for some of the sites, 3 play area for kids (swings and slides), a club house that needs a pool table 😎 (suggestion). Very dog friendly. The pond in the middle attracts beautiful birds and small gators. Yes, there are trees just not a forest, nicely landscaped and manicured, wide space between you and your RV neighbors, clean bathrooms, security, laundry facilities, the office people are great and professional. It's out by Lake Okeechobee so lots of nature if you're looking for other activities besides boating, fishing, long walks, bike rides on the levee, or just relaxing you can travel approx 45 minutes to West Palm; 15 minutes to Roland Martin's Tiki Hut restaurant, bar and grill, Walmart; chain restaurants, Winn Dixie, CVS, Walgreens just 10 minutes away. Free boat ramps just two minutes away with plenty of oversized parking for boat trailers. Almost forgot, free public wifi (one of the better wifi networks from my experience), Verizon okay, AT&T...

This place is very well kept. All sites are leveled and enough space between sites. There’s a lot to do here trails by the lake, bike riding, bird watching, and tours. But to say that this is a quiet place is major understatement! You have the US27 road near by, lots of boats, crop dusting planes in the early morning spraying some kind of chemical in the air and the water. I’m telling you if you have respiratory issues here is not the place to stay !!! and a GOD AWEFUL smell like sewer or manure in the air, on the evening, and daily trains with blazing horn to surely wake you up at nights, in other words all day noises! And the sugar cane fields being burned constantly you have ashes in the air falling everywhere! If you have respiratory issues this place is not for you! For that reason I only gave it 2 stars. I really was looking forward to some peace and quiet but not here.

We decided to leave to another location we had registered to stay here for two months. But We could not deal with the smells and every other days spraying in the air, and sugar cane fires... I recommend anyone with respiratory issues...

It is an adventure being here! It is off the beaten path which is my favorite place to be. There is at least one crock in the pond so be aware and smart. But the park and shower house are nice. There is two washer and dryers in the shower house it is similar to one you would have at home. I think their is two or three different shower houses. Luckily every time we go over they are never busy. The laundry cost 2.50 to do one load so less expensive than other ones. And it is like a gated community we really enjoy it. This is the spot to come and relax. Every one has been so nice. People enjoy riding bikes around here so if you have one bring it along. We enjoy it so much we decided to stay a bit longer than we planned. We have went by others in the area and trust me this is the one you want to be at clean and spacious quite.
