I don’t usually write reviews, but this company deserves one. We LOVE our dining room table from The Wooden Whale. The ordering process was super easy and efficient. I knew the general shape/size that I wanted, but needed help with some of the details. They made helpful suggestions on what would not only look the best, but asked personal questions to help me figure out what would be the most functional for my family. They cared about the details.

The cost of the table was equal to (or probably even less) than what a large dining room table from a department store would have cost. But this table was custom made, exactly how we wanted it! So that is a no brainer.

THEN the entire delivery process honestly blew us away. Our order arrived WAY quicker than we anticipated. The delivery man was awesome. Asked what time would work best for us, and when I told him 6:30am (before our kids woke up & before we left for work) he said NO PROBLEM! Showed up on time, at the crack of dawn, with a smile on his face.

That gets me to the table itself. WOW. It is heavy, sturdy, solid, beautiful & better than I even imagined. We have had it for 2 months now and it is one of the most solid pieces of furniture we have ever owned. It has already withstood food, crayons, markers, toy trains, our baby throwing toys at it & our toddler biting it. (You can’t make this stuff up). I can tell that we will be creating memories at this table for MANY years to come.

We needed a tabletop stripped down and restained to go with our kitchen renovation. If you are researching like we were, look no further. This is the place!

When we met the staff and saw the operation, we felt immediate trust and excitement.

The building is an open floor plan and projects completed or in progress are all around. One piece was more beautiful than the next.

Brad explained the whole process from start to finish, told us our options and had a huge selection of wood finishes. Thankfully after we showed him photos of our kitchen, he immediately narrowed the scope to about four wood samples of which we picked. He was on point as to which would update and bring cohesiveness to the room.

He quoted us a very competitive price, gave us a pickup date and they were on time with their estimated timeline.

Upon arrival I soon learned they make custom furniture from gorgeous tables to kitchen islands to cabinetry. How many times did you try to find something and couldn’t? He said easiest if you bring a photo and they can customize it for you. Now I am thinking what do I need because it’s one-stop shopping here and not a million unknown websites or big box stores.

I have never written a review before for anything but this company is so amazing that I have to let as many know about them!, as possible! I heard about the Wooden Whale form a friend. She ordered a table from there and it was beautiful. So, I went to the shop to purchase a kitchen table. I met with Brad, the owner. He didn't have a sales pitch (thank you for that), just a beautiful product that spoke for itself. He walked me through the process of ordering, taking a lot more time with me than I am sure he planned (I was only there to order a table) After talking with him, I learned that he can custom make furniture. I showed him a picture of a coffee table...he could make it. I ended up ordering a bench and 4 chairs to go with the table, a coffee table (pictured here - costume made from a photo I had), and a nightstand for my daughter. The experience from beginning to end was absolutely wonderful. I have recently moved and have been dealing with a lot of companies, and this company, by far was the easiest, most pleasant, and most reliable to to deal with. I felt like I was dealing with a good friend or family member. I had a lot of questions and made a few changes to my order, and each time Brad always answered my questions and/or made the changes without any issue.
