Very fortunate to be invited to play here in celebration of my 74th birthday.Superior conditioning with closely cut firm fairways and very fast(13 or 14 stimp?) but true hybrid Bermuda greens.Wonderful Tom Fazio design with plenty of well- placed sand traps and water to be both very challenging yet fun and interesting.The Pine Valley of the South!No tee markers adds another dimension of choice and interest to the round.Great caddies enhance the quality of the game here.My caddy Wayne was awesome and I highly recommend him!An absolutely unforgettable...

If you are ever blessed with the opportunity to play and stay at Congaree do not let it pass. Watching sunrise and golf course come to life under centuries-old Oak trees is truly soothing for the soul. The Congaree team is as hands-on and attentive as any Luxury hotel in the world. There is an elegance to this property that has to be experienced to undertsand as it's not all, about the golf although the course holds itself to any of the best in the world. Had the chance to play here with my dad. Downright beautiful golf course. It’s challenging but incredibly fun to play. The bunkers are all waste are so you can ground your club in any of them! Also not to mention the cottages, all are lavish furnished and are nicer than pretty much any hotel.
