My sister-in-law (local) and I (visiting from KC MO) played here on 5/9/2024 and we has such a great time. We are both (very) high handicap players who are senior players and new playing "real" courses, (branching out from Par 3 and Executive courses). First, the curb side staff was outstanding, friendly, helpful, and engaging. While waiting for our tee time / rain delay they made us feel welcomed and comfortable. Next the golf cart. Yeah, those of you who play a lot are spoiled by this but for us it was kind of a big deal. I've had couches in my house that weren't this comfortable. The GPS wizard thing was mind blowing (and staff was great at showing us how to use it). The grounds, club house, and pro shop was very visually appealing. We didn't eat so we can't give any feedback on the service or food quality, but the woman (Michelle?) in the pro shop was as friendly and engaging as the "cart guys". The course condition was great. They warned us that some greens were being repaired, and we actually saw people working on repairing them. (so walking the walk, not just talking the talk). We LOVED the course, she played the reds, I played the whites, and we felt the distances were fair for our level of play. We enjoyed it so much we commented several times, "That hole was so fun I am not even mad with that bogey (or double)." Just right before our tee time it was pouring rain and the course drained really well. The sand traps were flooded but we didn't have any issues with standing water in fairways, around greens, or tee boxes. All in all, it was fabulous. I can't wait for my next visit to play here again and my sister-in-law is going to make this a regular course in her rotation. Added bonus for me, my 96 was my first...

Arrived @ course early, treated horribly by female Associate in ProShop indicating we had been quoted military discount & we weren’t military. I tried unsuccessfully to explain, to no avail. She suggested I move to side and allow her to help the other (10) or so folks, in line before handling my situation. I declined, then complied.
Then, moving to the side, I waited til no one else was in line, explained again..., to no avail. I ended up paying almost $50 more than originally planned. Had one of my guys rent clubs, $40, and then on hole 9 the shaft and club head separated, (glue broke down), took back to clubhouse at turn, dealt with same female associate, she indicates it would be $400 fine. Remember, only glue broke, not shaft or head.
At end of round, thought I might give it another try and explain to female associate in clubhouse. She forcefully charged $100 for club repair (for glue!!!!!), I argued with her to no avail. Made a phone call to manager, left message, no reply. I was ready to scream...and inside myself, I was!
Absolutely was treated like swamp people at a fancy gala. We ended up paying almost $350 for a round of 18 holes with greens not completely healed from aeration. One of the angriest, sad, frustrating rounds of golf (1000% due to clubhouse staff), I’ve ever played in almost 40 years of golf.
Unless this is resolved, I will not ever step foot back on this course, ever again. ...
Read moreJust want to respond to Mr. Scott's negative review. He failed to mention a few things that happened that day. Mr. Scott and his three buddies came to play golf with no golf clubs. So they proceeded to rent two sets of clubs to play. Unfortunately for Mr. Scott, we require each golfer to have their own set of clubs. But they proceeded to try to go to hole#1 without checking in with the starter, me!! So I asked them as they were driving by where they were going since it was 20 minutes before their tee time. They said they were going golfing and I said not yet. For one thing, they needed to rent two more sets of clubs which Mr Scott disagreed with. So this was the start of Mr. Scott's disappointed round. The course just started repairing the cart paths which caused some inconvenience on certain holes. Add to that the downpour that arrived halfway through their round can add up to a miserable experience for Mr Scott and he took his frustrations out on the starter, me. I'm sorry his experience wasn't up to his standards but that wasn't my fault. His attitude was that he was going to have a bad day before he even got to the first hole because he had to rent 2 extra sets of clubs. His playing partners were kind and courteous, and thanked me on their way to the first hole. So, don't believe all the negative reviews about the International, as there are 2 sides to every story. Sincerely, Bob Pierce Starter,...
