My SIL bought tickets online and choose the 8:00 zombie assault time. We arrived at 7:30 and were told we needed to stand in line to “register”. We had already signed the waivers, but were told we had to stand in line. We stood in line, over 45 minutes to “check-in” and receive our vouchers. Then we were told to proceed to the zombie assault line. After another 45 minutes of waiting and the time is now closer to 9pm rather than 8. Our kids were getting tired, the 4 yr old fell asleep. The others kept asking how much longer???? IT WAS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS WE HAD TO STAND IN TWO DIFFERENT LINES FOR OVER 90 minutes!!!!! So, that’s my first complaint: the inefficiency of how this was managed. My second complaint is more of a continuation of the lack of efficiency: What was the point of presale?! The registration line also served as the ticket sales and MERCH sales!!! WHY???? They need a specific PRESALE VIP Registration tent dedicated to those people who purchased tickets ahead of time. THEN, they need a separate ticket sales tent. What would be the point of presale if we all stand in the same line??
We arrived at 7:30. It’s now 9:10. WE ARE STILL IN LINE. They are asking how many are in our party and then pulling people from the END OF THE LINE, to board BEFORE US. I’m irate. Why did we schedule an 8 time slot told to arrive early for us to stand in line for 90 minutes to have people that came much later than us go before us?!
Of course, we complained to workers; and we were given LOTS OF EXCUSES; and NO RESOLUTION!!!!! They did update their website after our initial complaints because they made a big deal saying our reservations meant we’d ride within that hour, not at 8. But we actually didn’t get on the truck until 9:18.So, I guess kudos to them for updating the website, but maybe they’ll take other suggestions to make this place better, cause it wasn’t worth the cost of the tickets.
Our children were falling asleep. Other guests’ children were also falling asleep and some were crying.
When we finally boarded the truck, the zombie assault ride lasted 18 minutes. That’s it. But, because we purchased additional paintballs, we sat killing the last zombie for 3 solid minutes. No need to spend the extra money. There were a grand total of 6 zombies to kill through the entire ride; SIX. Come on. That’s not worth it!!!
The Haunted walk in the woods was alright. Definitely needed more live actors for it...
Read moredidn't actually get to play paintball. I saw they had some kind of zombie assault thing and on their website and when I called them it was explained to me as essentially a normal paintball experience with some zombie stuff thrown in. Alright awesome super fun, count me in. In fact let me make this the main event for my friend's bachelor party. Look forward to it for like a month with my friends, was told that there would be food vendors, we can drink beer, it's gonna be a blast. Even tell them in the notes which they acknowledged when we got there that this was for a bachelor party and they were super cool about it. But we then found out the event that we signed up for that was explained to me as a fun adult experience was essentially a ten year old's birthday party. Paintball? nope! they gave us little paint pellet guns, Zombies? nope! try two guys in an inflatable suit standing ten feet away and you just shoot them with paint pellets. Paintball course? nope! you stand behind a wooden table and shoot them like a carnival game. food vendors? Nope! just some people serving hotdogs and cheese fries that were obviously not from a local restaurant but rather employees just serving what ever could be readily served from a bag and cooked on a grill. Which two of my friends got sick from that evening. Though the customer service was good everyone seemed really nice it was like pulling teeth to get any information about this event for Halloween and now I know why. It is because it is incredibly miss advertised to be this whole outdoor in the woods hunting zombies experience, but it is not. Technically those things are there but dumbed down to the level that even the smallest child could play, feel safe, and have fun. This was not something meant for five grown men who clearly said this was for a bachelor party. Feel like I was really misled by their phone operator and how it is advertised on their website. I might try them one day for actual paintball and write a review on that, but their Halloween stuff if you are above the age of thirteen I would not recommend. and their haunted house was good with some unique scares but it was not worth the money I played to clearly...
Read moreAnother Phenomenal experience today! We got off 2 a rough start w/some cheap shots by a Man pretending to be on our team (typical Dem tactics 🤣). This sneaky stunt set the mood w/friends we haven’t seen in 4ever as all the kids were targets of a miserable Adult (Voter’s remorse syndrome so we forgive him).
We spoke to the incredibly kind & compassionate young boy behind the counter who I believe is a manager. He directed us to Kaylee (sp?) & she spoke to Phil. She took our group to speak to Phil directly. Phil treated us like Family. We simply had a bad start which finished our day of paintball b/c very young children didn’t want to continue. Phil explained things to the kids & myself like a Father would do, so we felt much better after he took his time to thoroughly explain the Nature of the game to us. Phil went above & beyond to make things Right for us even though it was something completely out of their control! I had to hold back tears of happiness as a result of his kindness! It’s great to know Good people still exist amongst us. The kids are ecstatic over Phil’s kindness! We will be back next weekend hopefully & many more visits to come! We LOVE Urban Assault bc it’s tucked away in the Mountains & it feels like you’re in another World surrounded by God’s beauty & Nature! It’s a great escape from the everyday chaos so Thank You SO much for staying open after this past year. The equipment was super Clean! The face masks/shields were exceptionally CLEAN also! We Love going there & we can take some of our own food for kids w/food issues/allergies. If you want a down to Earth, feel at home experience for the family, THIS is the place to go! Private Birthday parties are also available which we plan on taking advantage of in the near future! Spot on 4 a Wonderful time outdoors surrounded by Nature! My FWD SUV handled the roads fine also. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You! Can’t wait to go back again! God Bless!...
