This is the third fire pit that I've owned. The first two were cheap and thin and each burned apart in a year or so. This one is the real deal. The 36" Medium Depth is light enough (112 pounds) for one person to roll on its edge, but the 1/4" thick steel walls are not going to fall apart. Its capacity will support a big fire with a tall blaze, and the snuffer lid allows you to have that blaze late in the evening without having to worry about going to bed with a fire still burning.
