Sunshine Laundromat — Local services in South Heidelberg Township

This Laundromat was a life saver – My husband and I were out in PA for the weekend, and while on the road we decided really late night that we wanted to do our laundry before heading back to New York. A quick google search, and we discovered Sunshine Laundromat and they are open 24/7! How DOPE? The whole experience was straight seamless – we walked in with our toddler, and we were immediately happy to see the space was spacious because we did not have to worry about our kid skipping around while we loaded up the machines – plenty of space. Considering the late hour that we were there, the spot was filled with folks loading up the machines/waiting for their clothes – and I love busy business places because that is how I know the service is TOP-TIER. There are comfortable waiting chairs – surrounded by lots of windows (which I love – especially if I have to be there for an hour). They have large and small machines for long or short washes. We were there for just under an hour and washed two medium loads, and then dried for about 25 mins - which is actually incredibly fast and effective. I have OCD so, I was so excited to have a rolling basket to transfer clothes from the washer to the dryers, and then from the dryers to the counter to fold my clothes. If you are in the area, even if you are not- it is def worth the experience and drive - Five Star service.

I even heard the owner saying they are expanding, and going to offer more services? Def our new spot to wash...

Happy this place is open 24/7. Clean and well kept. Prices are reasonable. Disappointed with some of the dryers not drying efficiently.

As a first-time customer, it seems you struggle with receiving constructive feedback regarding your establishment. I’m curious about the basis for your claim regarding the dryer, $0.50, which equates to 14 mins (7 mins per quarter). It’s disappointing to see you respond with hostility to a three-star review, especially when I made the conscious decision to support your small business. It appears you took it personally, going as far as to stalk my other reviews. This behavior reflects poorly on you as a business owner.

In life, such an attitude won’t help you succeed. Lastly, I am within my rights to choose whether to return. My experience was not limited to a single dryer; out of the five dryers I used, three did not dry my clothes efficiently. My review was based on honest feedback, and I hope you can take it in that spirit to improve...

I had to use laundromat dryers after my dryer stopped working, and had to go fairly late at night. This restricted me to going to 24hr establishments. I used the laundromat around the corner from my home, and it made me very nervous. I read reviews for Sunshine & decided to take the 20 minute drive to check it out. I was very pleased to see that it was well lit, and felt much safer. The owner greeted me, and I could tell that he has so much pride in his business. It shows in the little details. He also seems to have a giving heart, and just wants to help give his customers one less thing to worry about in this crazy world. I appreciate this touch of kindness, and think it goes a long way in repairing the feeling of community that I think we have fallen away...
