Redbud Bulk Foods and Deli — Local services in Southampton Township

Bought ham salad and chicken salad. Did not realize it was 10 days past packing date... and it has been a rough few days with being treated for food poisoning. I am usually very good with checking dates on foods. Called store owner and he didn't appear concerned in the least. Surely they check their items in meat refrigerator more often then this. Being sick has been horrible, but one would think the store owner would have more empathy. Won't be stopping back at this store or recommending. Might just be an isolated incident, but still responsibility of store owner to check better. I know I will be looking at dates on foods, especially deli foods better....

My favorite bulk item store and fresh goods. I've been going to this place for over 10 years. They have a deli. They also make fresh subs while you wait. They sell local fresh produce, and bulk fruit orders, like blueberries and peaches in the summer. They make excellent soups in the winter. The People who own and work here are my favorite people. Great little deli and bulk food store. Some people will complain about the prices but all food prices have gone up and that’s just life. My husband got a sub and I got a small salad topped with chicken salad. Had to scrap off a lot of the cheese since they put too much on but all toppings were generous so can’t complain about that! Sub buns are homemade so not a traditional crusty roll. Lots of choices of dips, ready made soups and bakery items. Cajun crab dip...
