Dan definitely deserves the award of Best in Utah! We hired Blackout Entertainment as the DJ for our daughter's wedding reception, and I only have great things to say about him. First, his contract is very complete and leaves no questions for him as to what songs to use for particular moments, what type of music we wanted and how the event would be timed. He was very easy to communicate with. Dan would respond promptly to my emails, and he was very positive about a last minute change. At the venue he arrived early to set up and be ready, and then he took the time to go over everything with me. During the event he was very easy to work with as the two of us checked in with each other on what was coming up next (i.e. toasts, guests being invited to go to the buffet, games, etc.) He was also up for "hosting" two games at the event (the bride/groom "shoe" game and the "spoon" game to give away the center pieces). Finally, he did a great job at keeping the energy during the dancing, and when all of the guest went outside for the bride/groom send off, he played one last slow dance for the bride and groom to have a private slow dance together. I just cannot recommend using Blackout...

I cannot recommend Black Out Entertainment highly enough! From start to finish, they went above and beyond to ensure our event was an absolute hit. Their attention to detail, professional setup, and dedication to creating an incredible experience were second to none. The sound quality was top-notch, and the energy they brought to the room was electric!

We hired them for a karaoke night, and it was the best decision we made. The song selection was excellent, catering to all ages and tastes, and their KJ was a true pro, making everyone feel comfortable and motivated to sing their hearts out. The lighting and effects added that extra bit of magic, making it feel like a concert!
