Anytime Fitness — Local services in Sparta

So I went to this gym when I worked in Wisconsin, but lived in Washington. I left back to Washington middle of October. I called to cancel. Was told I could not. Called many more times. Was told they would not cancel it. Sent over 50 emails. Called 50 times. Got charged for all the months. Finally they said they would freeze. Then got charged again after they said they would freeze my account. Called and asked why I was being charged when I live 1500iles away. They finally froze my account. But then I got told they are forcing me to pay a club betterment fee for $30. This is fraud they are forcing me to have an account and forcing me to pay a fee for a gym I do not go to. Horrible experience wasted so much of my time and money. Do most reccoment this gym....

I’ve been really impressed by this fitness facility. Tammy has been wonderful from the start. I contacted Anytime Fitness to set up a tour and I received a response immediately. She was extremely nice and welcoming. I was provided a great tour of the facility and all the membership details were clearly explained. I’ve been going quite a bit and I have to say the facility is extremely clean and well organized. I appreciate the set up and flow of the equipment. And it all works! Everything is in good working order and maintained well. I appreciate the gym isn’t always jam packed either. Of course there are busy times but it’s an expected amount of busy. I am so happy with this facility and the staff and owner there. I highly recommend this...

The facility is very clean. They have a large variety of equipment and programs available ranging from free weights, racks, kettle bells, cable machines, and group classes. The price for the gym is pretty high at $40 monthly without any extras like hydro massage or tanning (another $16 each monthly) and an annual $29 that goes towards gym improvement. I do like their plan to use those funds to improve the gym each year, but with how small the gym is they would need to expand more to fit more equipment. Some of the other patrons are sterotypically judgemental so I would recommend going during non peak hours if you are working...
