You won't regret it... Unlike these University you'll have a smooth transition into the college. My transition out of SMC was a nightmare. USC upstate leaves you to solve everything on your own from parking, registration, housing, meal plans, to issues in their system.. SMC is like having your high school guidance counselors and teachers all over again. They walk you through everything and make life easier. I transfered in two days from the original University I was going to and had to transfer my scholarships. Chris Roberson in FA made it all flatten out while I was panicking. I moved in, got my books, schedule, and so on in just two days. I wouldn't change a thing when it came to dropping a $40,000 scholarship to go to SMC. You'll feel like family and you'll actually know and could have a very close relationship with not only the students, but staff as well. SMC is to me the best junior college ik and I'll never forget what they've done to help me from SMC101, to becoming a pioneer peer, to KSA, to KSA Board, to working student work for Former chief, now Dean Teresa Ferguson, to becoming a member of Psi Beta, and Both former and current nurse helping me get in Mary Black school of nursing...and my advisor lol.
