Spencer Main Street Market — Local services in Spencer

Been coming here for years, always get the same food, new owners made the sauce different.. i called to complain, lady was extremely rude, stating it was always made that way. I come to find out by pressing her some more that the store is under new ownership. So clearly, they switched up the sauce but she’s not admitting that. What she does instead is completely take it off the menu all together. Who does that??? Who runs a business like that? What kind of an establishment just gets rid of a popular item just bc someone complains about it once. I know it was all bc of me bc once my husband noticed it was taken off, he asked her about it and she rudely stated it was bc a customer called to complain about it. Whether she knew he was my husband or not, the whole experience and the way they handled it is totally unprofessional & trashy. The whole store looks so bland & boring now with rude new owners. The old owners were so sweet & friendly. Thanks for ruining a perfectly cute, convenient, neighborly corner store that HAD great food. Boo…. Two huge thumbs down! Get out of our town & go...

The store runs fine, but since the business was sold it’s a very watered down version of what it used to be. They added a lot of things that weren’t there before like vapes and some different types of alcohol, yet gotten rid of a lot of stuff that the previous owners were doing for the community that I felt made the place above and beyond for a tiny village such as Spencer. Also the one of the owners is sometimes rude, which is fine if it didn’t have anything to do with dealing with the public. This is a small town place in the center if Spencer. I went in today and was blown away by the selection of food to order. They have subs, wraps, burgers and more. The food was prepared fast. The workers all seemed friendly. It made the wait more pleasant. I'm definitely going to stop there again for lunch or a quick dinner. I had the buffalo chicken wrap. It was delicious. They have drinks available and a good assortment of other things...
