I just want to let everyone know that this place is horrible. Please take your quilts somewhere else. I took 6 quilts in at one time. Now I’m not picky and I told her to pick design best for each piece. 4 of them had the same quilt design. Come on no imagination. Really? One design was so bad I had to pick it out. Resulting in having to replace batting and backing. Most quilters would pick it out and re-do but not her. No refund either. Another customer also took her quilt in and Nicole criticized her work so bad she left in tears. Maybe some of us are beginners but you don’t need to criticize our work. I’m not a beginner and I know what I’m doing so please find another quilt shop to go to. She also charges for thread and needle. I took Lauren’s class on using the long arms in the shop so I could quilt my own tops. She’s a patient and thorough teacher. While I was there a customer came in for a consultation for having Lauren quilt their top and I was impressed with the time she spent with them making sure they would be happy with the finished product. I’ll also say that when I was at my lesson, another woman who brought in a top pieced by her late mother was also in our group. The top was poorly pieced and had multiple areas with bunching and uneven piecing. Lauren spent quite a bit of time working patiently with her showing her how she could quilt it and “fix” those areas to get a good result on this top that had great sentimental value to her. I found Bold Notion quilting on Google because I had a Dream Big Hoffman flower panel and didn't know how to quilt. I found Lauren's instructional video that I purchased. It is a great follow along video. Although I had problems with my login and a lot of questions. So I emailed the business email. Lauren herself emailed me right back and helped me through everything I had trouble with. Since then I've purchased the thread kits she sales for the corresponding panels. Again I had questions and actually ordered the incorrect kit. Lauren reached out again and made everything work out and saved me money. She goes above and beyond. This kind of customer service is not found often these days and I appreciate her so much....
