Very naturistic northwoods course. This course was full or hardwoods and terrain to play with that made for some great challenging shots. Parts of the course layout weaved through to seem a little odd but the layout played good. Ok clubhouse that was extremely friendly and nothing really for a pro shop. Teeboxes were mostly in pretty good shape except number 17 needs some work. Fairways were decent and cut well but felt wider than normal. Rough was cut well. Greens rolled pretty well and many were elevated keeping it interesting to land. Course challenges were pretty good with elevated shots and doglegs....some felt short for thr par rating like number 16 but ball positioning is critical. Rates were pretty good for this course. Fun tract they have here.

Challenging course, surrounded by beautiful mature trees!! From raised tee boxes to elevated greens, the course is improving greatly with the new owners! Book your tee time today for a great game of golf!

Great vistas with some narrow tree lined holes. Only use your driver on a few holes (3, 4, 6, 14, 18) or you can rack up big numbers. Holes 1, 2, 8, and 11 are risk reward holes for a driver.

One star is giving it too much, The absolute rudest people I’ve ever met work there and own the place. Tried to push alcohol on us when we paid for our round then when we refused and said we weren’t drinking, they told us three times before we left the shop That no carry-on alcohol is allowed. We said no problem we’re not drinking. Then twice on the course The guy that was working the counter, randomly came up to our golf cart. He didn’t say he was looking for carry-on alcohol, but it was clear that’s what he was doing. It was super uncomfortable. He didn’t even try to make small talk, which is even more odd when he just randomly walks up to us and looks in our golf cart. Funny thing is as I read these comments. We are not alone and how we felt. I’ve golfed over 20 courses this summer, and even the worst one was 10 times better than this course. It’s a complete joke , all four of us were in our 50s and they treated us like we were high school seniors on senior skip day. This place is an...

Finally played here. Dont believe the great reviews if you are a serious golfer. The course was in below average condition, with many bare tee boxes and weedy, thin fairways. Despite a pretty mild summer. The course layout is also poor. From the back tees, only about 6100 yards, the par 3s are boring, many of the par 4s are extremely tight and a couple of the par 5s are almost unplayable because trees have overgrown the teebox to the fairway. Then's there's #12, a 90 degree dogleg with giant pines in right front of 3/4s of the green.

There are much better courses in the area for the same price.

It was cheap and we played really fast for a weekday in August. And the greens were in good condition, despite being very small and very sloped. And the staff was nice.

What should they do to improve course? Cut down a few hundred trees to make the course more playable and that will also let more sunlight and air circulation on the tee boxes...
