I go in here at least once a month to browse or buy ammo. I don't know about the flood of bad reviews but every time I enter I'm treated with respect. What most of you don't realize is that you approach their sales team. If you don't like waiting be proactive and greet them. Their "bad service" is because they are guarding hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of firearms and ammunition. They always treat me with respect and if you insult individual employees based on physical appearance then I hope anyone immediately discredits your reviews. They have good prices and a large selection. And every time I enter I see more customers being rude and obnoxious which in turn is going to get you no where. A few of the staff is soft spoken but you have to realize when carrying a firearm like the entire staff does you have to maintain an entirely different mindset. I apologize to the employees for having to deal with these nutjobs. It's an armory not a museum. Do your research before entering. But if you have questions they will answer to the best of their knowledge. Treat them with respect and they will do the same. They are my go to gun shop. Helpful and knowledgeable staff, would recommend to anyone looking for fair prices. And remember. Don't bring in a loaded gun. Keep gun in case or with a breech lock until informing a staff member of your inquiry, and WHEN DOING A CHAMBER CHECK DO NOT DRAW THE FIREARM WITHOUT TELLING THEM BEFORE HAND THAT YOU'RE ABOUT TO CLEAR THE CHAMBER. They are there to help you but you have to make sure you're not the cause of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAlthough customer service has always been poor, I have purchased A LOT of guns, holsters, ammo, etc from this business. After putting a gun on layaway I had some financial problems come up and knew there was no way that I would be able to pay this particular firearm off in time so I went in and found a less expensive firearm to purchase and asked to credit my deposit to this one and told them I would pay the balance right then. I had just paid $60 that day and they were going to take that money off of the amount that they would give me credit for. NO WHERE on the layaway slip or in the store does it say anything about that and I wasn't asking for money back, just wanting to buy another firearm. Although I could fight it I just told them to give the balance of my money back and took the hit. What a way to treat a long time customer and one that would have bought many more items from them. Take $60 to lose much more on a loyal customer. I guess it's a good thing since they are always at least $30 higher than the competition. I'll have to drive farther now to do business with someone else but I would drive to South America to purchase something before I would even step in this store again. Too many...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhen I finally decided it was time to get my first guns I just started here because -being situated on a road I travel daily- it was the only one I knew of. But Iām glad I did. They had a good system for identifying exactly what I wanted and enough of a variety to show me various products with basic tier variations. I always felt like we were in the same headspace, and they never made me feel remotely stupid, not an easy task. I donāt like to shop around because Iām lazy so the endless countertop of 9mmās was almost more than I could manage. By the time Iād gotten to the end Iād forgotten most of the ones at the beginning. While they were patient, they understood that I was going to need to graze a little bit and other folks were popping in. But at last, I made a choice that Iām very happy with. It wasnāt until I paid for it all that I understood just how impartial they had been during the sale. Because after the transaction they were like proud parents as they congratulated me on my choices. Made me feel a little cooler for having made them even if they were very well informed by āthe guysā. Thanks...
